IHSWCA Class AA Rankings and Results Thread

#10 chandler Moore didn't wrestle in the north/south dual.  Have to think that's a 9 point swing.  But a great competitive match from what I've heard!

This may be true, but it is assuming two things...1) The Moore kid doesn't get upset and 2) The North coach doesn;t manipualate his lineup to overcome/adapt

to the situation...I think its brilliant how the North Montgomery coaches exploited one missing starters absence and knocked off the #14 ranked overall team in the

state.

Depends on which rankings u look at the class rankings have north #4AA and south tied for #9AA? Do these 2 sets of rankings completely different.  Think is was two good teams wrestling hard and one team had its best kid out.  That's unfortunate but that's the sport.  Both teams are tough AA schools

If Peru was #5, how come they weren't invited to team state?

Rankings and invites are different. The invites are based off of the qualifying system. The rankings are voted on every two weeks by voting coaches of the IHSWCA. The rankings have nothing to do with the team state event except to help seed teams that qualified.

but they qualified more for reg and ss, beat western in conference and regionals, and have more kids back from their same team last year. I don't like Peru, but seems something isn't right there.
