WrestleMan
Tyler Coomer from Boonville pinned him in 1:21 in the championship match. I don't know how he pinned him because I was coaching on another mat at the time. Anybody have any idea on match score at the time or how the fall occurred? Have these two wrestled before this year and if so what was the outcome?
Mat Medic
Coomer got a takedown and then locked up a cradle. They did not wrestle this year, because Coomer was hurt by Lawalin and out for several meets. They wrestled last year and Coomer lost by 2 I belive in the dual meet, they did not get to wrestle in sectional due to Coomer was ineligible. He works hard and did real well yesterday. But he has been hurt most of the year.
Jon H
Boonville finishing ahead of Castle had to be a big boost for their program and a bit of a shock for Castle! My wife teaches at Boonville Middle school and she told me the kids were doing great the past few years. Congrats to Boonville and HH!!!
WrestleMan
Who has Coomer lost to this year and does he have any impressive wins?
Mat Medic
Coomer lost to Lawalin from Tell City and he got hurt that match. He got hurt and had to sit out until after Christmas. His second lost was to Kersteins from Jasper 2 to 0 at conference. Which he wrestled terriblely their. He is solid. Impressive wins not really because he was out for most of the year hurt. But he performed very well at sectionals and his injury is completely healed now. We will see if he gets out at regional. we will keep our fingers cross. But he looked good at sectionals. BlueBolt
Boonville finishing ahead of Castle had to be a big boost for their program and a bit of a shock for Castle! My wife teaches at Boonville Middle school and she told me the kids were doing great the past few years. Congrats to Boonville and HH!!! As much as it sucks, it was nice to see Boonville's program coming back to its winning ways. They put some very quality wrestlers on the mat this year and anyone that over looks them is in for a rude awakening. Heritage Hills has a tough line up! Very impressed with their intensity and skill set The regional will be much more diverse this year than years past. There will be a lot of "where did this come from" in the stands this year. The "favorites" are strong front runners, but that is why we wrestle te matches.

SouthernIndianaWrestling
Yes I believe Chevez beat Allen in the Semis at the Big 8 Conference Tournament.
tonyb71
What was the 132 final like? I believe the final was 4-2. I recall there being a close takedown late in the third period for the Castle kid but they were out of bounds and he didn't get it.
Alduflux
I have Chevez over Allen 7-2 in my program from the Big 8 semis but don't remember the match.
mat Dad
Allen was sick that week when he lost to Chevez. He only went to school long engough so he was able to wrestle in the Big 8.
