It was Caleb Schmitt of Castle High School. At 135 pounds, and that was the best state finals match I have ever seen. There was a Jason T-Shirts standing ovation because it was in the 7th period and nobody knew who would win. Such a great match. Also, the back flip after wrestling 7 periods was awesome. Inspired the 2 timer Steven Sandefur's break dance after he won senior year (Caleb defeated him in the Semi's)

You can't be mad at a wrestler or a coach taking a IT even if it's unnecessary. It's not there fault there is no rule against it!! People are going to use whatever is legal and whatever betters there chance of winning. Cheap or not, It's a fact.

It's part of the sport. That's a smart tactic if you ask me. And it isn't fair but what can you do about it? Sit on a message board and complain? No, use every weapon in ur arsenal to win the match no matter what.

It doesn't make much of a difference say i take a injury timeout against a better wrestler, he refreshes along with me so the outcome will still be the better wrestler winning.

138 pounds Hoehn over (#2)Lannert 7-4. Hoehn is a good wrestler but beating somebody like Lannert in my eyes is a huge upset. Considering the facts: Hoehn gets destroyed by Kelley all year, and vice versa with Kelley to Lannert. Unranked wrestler taking down the #2 guy...

Molloy's weak abilities? Obviusly we are not talking about the same person, or you are just un-educated on how good Molloy really is. Like i said it will be a hell of a match but Molloy will take the W.

Molloy wins in a close match, he is not Kieffer he won't be pinned in McKinley's headlock.

I did that in the matter of a minute. And i only posted the ones i was wondering about to get some discussion on them. And the weight's were in the paper. Rankings were good, but there was so many wrong weights! So chill out, sorry i know the weights and he doesn't. Once again i could rank semi-state better than that.

Assuming these wrestlers go at these weights.... 106 Kuhn Seng Brown 113 Mastison Johns 120 Welch Sam Goebel (if he returns) 126 Wedding Vanhook Pierre 132 Any studs at 132? Who does reitz and mater dei have? 138 Moody or Kelley 145 Lannert Kemper 152 Reuger 160 Appel That's all i know. It's not much at all, just throwing around some weights that i have heard of and who the studs are in each class.

Moody is at 138, Hoehn is at 138, Kelley is at 138, Oakley is at 132, Johns is at 120, Gideon is at 126. And im sure there is many more i can't remember that were wrong off the top of my head. I could rank semi-state better than this.

Having one leg is both, an advantage and a disadvantage. Which one is bigger i don't know but it does have its perks in a wrestling match. No turks, no shots, your a lot stronger than ur opponent, mcdonough couldn't even base up due to how strong Robles was. But like his teammate said he "hops" a 6-7 minute mile and is getting it down to 5 minutes. When someone can accomplish this then you can talk bad and say this kid isn't outstanding. :]

I think Kieffer will beat Raley. Also Alex Gregory vs. Devon Jackson will be a good match to see. Though Jackson will win 135 beating Josh in the finals. No doubt Devon Jackson will win state though.

I agree with what your saying in that sense. Why should Dunkel make it to state over Henderson? (in my opinion a better wrestler). And also Dunkel didn't even deserve to be their, lost to Lawalin in sectionals? He's a joke. But it is a blind draw and Dunkel (Oakley) got the best draw in the world. Henderson did not. It sucks but it is part of wrestling..

I see him being in the finals but majoring Harvey and beating tsirtsis next year? You must have saw him wrestle Kelley, Hoehn, then Brown... kids that are nowhere near his level yet... Harvey wins state at 130 is my call

Brendon Kelley pa'd him and tried to splaedle (however you spell it) him in the first period with the score being 2 to 2. Then Molloy was mad and pinned him. haha Molloy is a monster though didn't he win nationals last year? as a freshman..

Anyone know anything on why Griesemer went up to 130? and if he is going to stay that weight for sectionals?
