    I don't know the thought process. Much of what I heard about Ray participating or not was earlier in the week when the brackets came out. I never got anymore info after that.

    I don't know the actual injury was. I was just posting what I heard and what the original brackets showed (with him not listed at 138). It wasn't until I got to Northview and saw him out warming up that I knew any different.

    My family knows the Stillions family fairly well and really happy for Rex. It shows that a off-season of hard work does pay off.

    Bump....Can't wait for regionals. Hey Navy80 I saw you've been updating people who didn't make it to regionals. It looks like Deerwester didn't complete yesterday at sectionals at 170.

    Will try to do predictions tomorrow but just want to say that I'm pumped for some great match-ups on Saturday.

    Ray of Bloomington North did hurt his knee. He will be unable to compete in the sectionals on Saturday. As a returning semi-state qualifier he def was looking to make another run at it in a very tough 138 class. The good news is Ray is only a junior so he will be back for his senior year and is upbeat about next season.

    My uncle made it to state that year and always tells that story of the state being postponed and moved and how tough that was on all the wrestlers.

    I thought I heard it was 9-7 and it went to OT but I could be thinking of a different final.

    This conference has 2 of the top teams in the state and we have brackets by hand.....sad.

    @113 Percival of Bloomington North over Deckard of Edgewood last night. Looks like he could be a player at 113 at regionals.

    It's great that they could get 2 quality teams to replace LC and Pike. A lot of state and semi-state ranked guys in every weight class. Seeding meeting was last night so hopefully brackets will be out soon.

    Didn't see a thread on the meet this weekend. Anyone have brackets to start making predictions? I know PM's the clear favorite for the team title but as always should be some awesome match-ups.

    At 138 Dull of THN over Schnell of Castle 9-5.

    Just some updates I saw yesterday. 106 - K. Martin of Martinsville over Hurst of Jasper I believe Schnell of Castle wrestled at 138 yesterday and lost to the Terre Haute North freshman at the weight 9-5. Schoolcraft of Martinsville lost to Edington of THN by pin I believe.

    Yes it was. That thing was deadly. He threw it twice on Schnell and pinned Ray of North with it when he was losing 9-2 with about a minute left in the 3rd.

    I believe it was the THN freshman. Don't remember his name.

    I see a lot of potential matchups of ranked guys in the Evansville semi-state, esp at 220lbs. Should be really exciting day of wrestling.

    I was wondering that too. I also saw several guys with 0-0 records on the brackets.
