WRESTLING IS LIFE
Pending anything crazy at Team Regionals. I think Perry Meridan advances 12 to Semi State with 7-8 Champions, maybe 9. They are peaking at the Right Time.
~B~DOGG~SMASH~
McGinley is wrestling very well right now I think, he beats Whitten in another tight one. And I am sticking to Farrell over Moss, he is a better wrestler I think than Moss. It will be an exciting match I think between these two, definitely. WRESTLING IS LIFE
You have to admit it was a weak sectional all except 160, regionals isnt much tougher this year! No I don't think I will admit that. When you look at who is there and all the wrestlers that had been ranked and that 171 and up. There will be 5 ranked heavy weights there. there are 16 sectionals and 25% of 1 weight class will at PM regional. An unranked wrestler won DC, although he was ranked earlier. and an unranked came in second at WC, which I don't think was ranked at all this year. Same for several weight classes, I think there will be 6 previous ranked kids at 215.

It will be an exciting match I think between these two, definitely. i disagree i think whitten will beat mcginley if you saw there last match at the WC tournament whitten lost by 2 due to bad positioning in the second period and whitten looked solid at sectionals coming out with the win 9-0 over cottey who recently pinned him i think he looked solid there. Farrell is not at all a Better wrestler than moss they might be equal but moss will come out with the win it will be an exciting match i will agree with that but we will just have to see

WRESTLING IS LIFE
i agree i also think Ben Davis could go to semi-state with all 13 with at least 3 champs I got there at 145 of finals at DC, so I don't know about the lighter weights. But if you stayed for the HWT finals you got your moneys worth. D-O-Guy you are picking uhls to beat Taylor? And on another post you picked White to win it. Where is the logic in that one? Uhls won't beat Shall or white. Jackson could surprise Decker. Taylor should beat Cheh! 3 Hwt are moving on out of DC.

WRESTLING IS LIFE
I know some of these might be a little biases, but I think all of these are reasonable results. Warren Central: 10 Champs Decatur Central: 4 Champs LITTLE bias!?! Not even close. Of the 56 wrestlers moving on to Semi State you have 38 out of the WC Sectional and only 18 out of the DC sectional. Now maybe if you had 30 to 26 I could understand. 8 weights you have 3 wrestlers moving out of WC and at HWT you have all 4. Not going to happen. I have seen all your HWTS this year except Uhls, which I watched in ISWA last year. Has he put on a lot of weight? Great Season for a great kid, but he doesn't win this. He may go to SS but he is not winning this Regional. Ten Champs from WC. I think Tonte's crew might have at least 7 for PM.

tcooper1454
Tasseff won by fall, but it was in OT. In my opinion Allen controlled the match most of the way. Allen was up 3-1 in the 3rd and gave up two penalty points, one was "pulling the singlet" call and the other was a stalling call with about 35 seconds left. I thought it was a really good match and am looking foward to a rematch at Regionals. Allen ran out of gas at the end and Tasseff was better conditioned. Also, Allen beat Mueller of BG a couple weeks ago at conference.
sparkplugdad
What was the score of the Tasseff-Allen sectional final match? Tasseff did win by fall in OT, but it should have never gotten to OT. Allen up 3-1 in 3rd and gets two bogus calls: grabbing singlet when his thumb got caught in it for a split second and a phantom stalling call very late in 3rd to allow OT. Tasseff couldn't do anything with Allen for 3 rounds. Allen was out of juice for OT. To see a kid give his all for 3 rounds and have that happen made me sick! I would think he's definitely looking forward to regionals.
