  1. Jared Schall - 285 - Speedway - :10 Pin vs Indpls Washington, 12-29-11 @ Giant Super 16
  2. I agree...my son is 6'/236 lbs, so he easily gives up 25-45 lbs in many matches, but competes with strength, speed and smarts. He has wrestled one kid smaller and one about the same size this season out of 16 matches. All others were larger, with the largest being 283 lbs. The average heavyweight he has seen is about 260-275.
  3. Speedway's Colby Ward defeated Greenfield Central's Cody Cecil last night 5-2 @132
  4. My heavyweight son is always trying to put weight on! Plays football at about 250, but is wrestling at 236 or so!! Always love seeing the "little" heavies take on the "big" heavies!! And win!!
  5. We heard at the Westfield meet the first weekend of December that he has a knee injury and is most likely out for the season? Anyone from BD confirm?
  6. At the Shamrock Duals the first weekend of December, we heard that Tre has a knee injury and will most likely be out for the season. Maybe someone from BD can confirm?
  7. There's the answer to your question Hende13....
  8. I think the seeding meeting was actually last Thursday....my son knew his seed at 285(#2) last Friday...I would love to see all posted as well. Any help? Will brackets be posted soon too?
  9. I believe last year they were looking at adding a 240 class...I like that. Just too big of a gap from 215 to 285. Tough for kids at the lower or even middle of 285 to give up 40-60 pounds especially once they get to Regionals and beyond. 240 could be a good mix of size and still some decent speed.!!!
  10. Anyone know the score of the Uhls/Decker 285 final??
  11. Tasseff did win by fall in OT, but it should have never gotten to OT. Allen up 3-1 in 3rd and gets two bogus calls: grabbing singlet when his thumb got caught in it for a split second and a phantom stalling call very late in 3rd to allow OT. Tasseff couldn't do anything with Allen for 3 rounds. Allen was out of juice for OT. To see a kid give his all for 3 rounds and have that happen made me sick! I would think he's definitely looking forward to regionals.
  12. Don't believe so...only in Sectionals. Naughton, Schall, Taylor and Decker win first round matches and advance to New Castle...what order they finish at Perry is a toss up!
  13. Schall also beat Uhls at the Westfield Duals....
  14. Schall injured his shoulder in his first match of the day at the Circle City Classic and did not wrestle any other matches that day and finished 3rd at BD Invite(losing to top 1o ranked HVWT from Kentucky in semis after leading in the 3rd). He is 27-4 on the season after being a sub .500 wrestler his sophomore season. At only 235 pounds he is giving up 30-50 pounds most matches. He has become a very good wrestler this season and is very smart. The win over Decker was huge(the 5 points he scored on him were the most Decker had given up in a match to that point, I believe). Alot of confidence with little pressure are a great combo heading into sectionals! He could make some serious noise next season for sure!
  15. Hey, Rankingsguy...you've got a typo in your 285 list....#17 is Jared Schall from Speedway(not Jaren)...great job all year with the rankings, what a tough job!
