SharkBit Posted April 24, 2009 Share Posted April 24, 2009 Steven verbally informed Coach Hinkel that he has chosen to be a part of this elite group of incoming Indiana wrestlers that will be attending Purdue University. The opportunity to stay close to home (yes he is a momma's boy) and represent Indiana at the collegiate level as a home grown Indiana boy was a huge factor in his decision. Possibly the biggest bonus was the opportunity to join some of the other State's elite who have chosen to do the same. Great group of kids, it should be fun to watch!! Which is why UIndy was such a great fit. He may still end up there just not for five more years. Congrats to the Mascaro family as well, since they like to pair up the wrestlers, and these two are the last two that have come in, we may be moving them into the same dorm.
