regionrumbler
What determines the All-State status? The GPA's listed vary greatly. Are all the Honorable Mention students' GPA's lower than the All-State students? I'm just curious, too, if anything else goes into the selection, ie., faculty recommendation, volunteerism or their wrestling record? Sorry for all the questions, but this is a tremendous honor and our school doesn't seem to know anything about it. I've asked. Thank you.

Once Formidable
Well done on your venerated (with your GPAs you will know that term) achievement. Historically, wrestlers have faired well out in the world given their mental toughness. Show me a good wrestler with a great mind, now you?re on to something. Again, congratulations to each of you for knowing the difference between a split-leg ride and a split-infinitive.
Onthemat
Congratulations to all! While many of us get consumed by the wrestling, these young men have found the balance and importance of a good education. Again, hats off to these young men and good luck with their futures.
