I thought u could only replace a wrestler in bracket , not a ff ... but guess I was wrong

That’s terrible cause most likely that means a 4 seed is alternate after regionals going into semi state .. should be highest seeded wrestler

I know chesterton did also at 126 then the kid took second and before regionals he was deemed ineligible again ... that terrible u either let him in or keep him out

Well my point is he prolly would not have got 5th and not ended up moving to 4 seed to take on cp in the 4vs1 match

Heard the chesterton 126 who got eligibility on the day before sectionals just had it taken away now by ihsaa.. how do u make a kid eligible then turn around and make him not .. plus by allowing him it really screwed up the whole bracket from sectionals cause he came in at 6 and beat the 3rd seed so that kid also now got screwed ...

I agree he shoulda been allowed , and penn hs shame on u , isn’t the sport about the kids ? At what point did we make it about coaches and schools feelings being hurt ?

I heard they were but it wasn’t sponsored by ihsa .. starts April and state will be first week of June

So then did they actually physically move as a family including every sibling ? Cause if not the ihsaa should have not allowed it , just saying ..

Same topic but not about same kid ...how many Illinois wrestlers will leave there current Indiana hs and go back to there Illinois school to compete since they start wrestling up I believe in April ... that will be proof that certain schools are recruiting ..

The state talks about safety , even if a kid isn’t cutting weight and weighs in 5 times on a Saturday and has to maintain that weight all day that means he can barely eat or drink all day ! And safe is that for a child ? People who make these rules or even think about it apparently didn’t wrestle at any level . They don’t realize u drink a normal bottle of water and u just gained 1.1 pounds . So in between matches if u decide to eat a sandwhich and drink a bottle of water that before u wrestle again u have to go run the hallways and cut 1.5 pounds .. makes no sense at all to weight in multiple times.
