    I watched his first two matches. He has a pin and a major. Trey has a tough kid that wrestled at the Indiana Mat preseason open this year (Monos) to start the day. Lots of seniors and juniors in his bracket. They grow them small in the sunshine state! Good luck buddy, make #TheCounty proud!

    BTW... Danny's son Trey has qualified for state in the 2A 106 pound weight class (in Florida). He comes in as a one seed (since he won his region). Hopefully, he will be a 4 timer down there. Congrats to the Lane's!!!! Kind of scary when you realize that Trey and Asa Garcia would have been battling for a varsity spot (if they did not make the big move). With that said, we look forward to going to down to train with Brandon this summer! #HillboroughCountyWrestling #OurSisterCounty #TheCounty

    Jon McClain from Webo. He finished 5th 4th and 2nd. In the early 90s. Comes into the Avon room and still beats everyone up!

    He is a great kid that didn't need to dodge anyone. He wrestled his weight that he was comfortable at and won period. He travels the country to wrestle the best kids. That kind of kid doesn't dodge. And... If anything he may have chose the best weight class for him to have the most success. That's just being smart in my book. I suspect that he will win again. Congrats to a really tough kid. #TheCounty

    Mills=class act!!!! Proud to call both of these families friends (no matter what singlet color or hashtag). I have seen both of these kids grow up. Both will be successful in whatever they do. #cwa I have coached Asa in too many national and local duals to count. He is a big match wrestler. The kid has ice in his veins. Again, SUPER proud of Asa. Can't wait to see what the future holds for this young man. Congrats buddy!!!! The #younggunz are here! We are now in the process in the development of the #youngbuckz .     Was there last night then came home and watched it again until 2am!!!! When you are there you miss this match or that match. To be able to come home after all those great matches and to go back to see what you missed is worth every penny of the $10 fee! Technology is a beautiful thing!!!

    I believe that the young man is Nick Littlejohn. One of my favorite dudes! Most of you have seen him refing our youth tournaments. Great guy!

    It is a great tourney. I have had the pleasure the last couple of years of helping the great Mark Gaulka take the national teams over to Danville, Illinois for the middle school nationals (as a coach and assistant team leader). With this said, I like the two pound allowance. Yes we are trying to find a state champ... but in my eyes the biggest honor is to represent your state at Middle School National Duals. You gotta figure that you are really only getting one pound, as the lightest shoes weigh at least one pound. With this said, If you can be within one pound of the weigh class (the morning of this tourney) and still wrestle well enough to take a top two spot. Then.... you should be able to make scratch a month later the night before nationals (weigh-is are the night prior). This allows Indiana to bring our very best team to nationals. I assure you that most kids at that tournament are lean and mean!!!!! With all of this said..... Hector (Sig40) is right.... our teams should be very solid!!!! Although I am not on the ISWA board anymore, I may still make the trip out to see Indiana rip it up!!!! Brewer

    What about a wrestler that did not wrestle this year because of discipline matters, but now Is able to wrestle next year?

    Over Larson!!!???? Not big on predictions..... But no way that happens. I'm sure that streck is solid but, Gunnar is a very smart wrestler that puts more than most into his craft. Good wrestler and even a better kid. We are lucky to have him as our captain.

    Been around ol Kameron for many years. His mom has always been a great help to the ISWA. She always is willing to step up and help with registration or anything else that is needed. Kameron's sister has also been a wrestler. When Kameron was on the schoolboy national team, he insisted that everyone call him "The Black Hammer". Not sure how I felt about that, but we went with it anyway. The kid is a blast to be around and a VERY exciting wrestler to watch. I assure you that this kid has worked very hard to be a varsity wrestler this year (on the mat and in the classroom). I am super proud of him. Please give him your votes.     How many headlocks and or chin whips will we see at 170? Walton with his funk. Fuller with his left handed crusher. And Dull with his nasty headlocks from everywhere. Will be the most fun weight class to watch!
