  1. Yea, the Mater Dei millions take over Conseco. I've sat by them a couple of years and they are crazy (in a good way)!
  2. I think he's referring to when people booed Reagan.
  3. ccbig, as a coach and a parent, you giving this lady an excuse for her actions is ridiculous! What would your reaction be if an out of control parent were to make their way from the bleachers down to the floor and got in your kid's face like that? NOBODY has the right to get in a kid's face like that. And you're right about wrestling teaching its participants self control. Joe did the ADULT thing and just walked away without saying a word to her. She is very lucky that he is a class kid from a class program. That situation could have turned out very bad if she had done that to the wrong kid. I agree that there should be disciplinary action against her. Maybe ban her until state where it is much more difficult to get onto the floor?
  4. While this is very nice of you, you don't owe anyone an apology. You were wrestling hard on the line, just like he was. If anything, you are owed an apology. Nobody had the right to get in your face and act like an idiot.
  5. But if he wasn't actually hurt and could wrestle then he should have. That was a match up everyone wanted to see.
  6. The refs called the move illegal and gave the win to Reagan.
  7. Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. The quote should read, "Who have these wrestlers lost to?"
  8. Are you serious? If so that's a shame. That keeps them from sparring with one of the best kids in the state.
  9. What would Urlacher know about being tough? He got tackled by a quarterback!
  10. I know Memorial didn't win any football championships in his years. They are in Penn's sectional. Which I guess I should say is now Mishawaka's sectional.
  11. What's the name of the Cena movie? Unfortunately I'm bored and may have to watch it.
  12. I believe the tournament you're looking for is the individual state finals. You will see all of the best wrestlers facing off against each other there. When it's a dual in the middle of the season, the coaches and wrestlers are going to do what is best for the team.
  13. Have you ever been coached by Hartman? Have you been in his room? He's never taught "heels on the line" as you proclaim. There weren't any drills in his room where we stood around stalling with our heels on the line.
  14. Exactly what I was thinking Decbell. It's funny when someone is so vehement about something and they do the exact same thing they're going nuts about.
  15. The best breakfast in the Mishawaka/South Bend is The American Pancake House! There are 3 in the area, the closest to MHS being at the intersection of Mckinley and Hickory in the Town and Country shopping plaza. As for dinner, a Tilted Kilt just opened off of Main Street on University Blvd. out by Target. If you do go to Between the Buns you HAVE to get the onion rings.
  16. I knew Steve and just talked with him a few days ago. I was shocked when I heard the news this morning. His ticket round match his senior year is one of the most memorable matches I've ever seen. My thoughts and prayers are with the Siokos family.
  17. I think Penn will be up toward the top of the heap next year. Coach Harper has made a tough team there.
  18. Well put Steve. I'll always remember coach Hartman telling us that after wrestling everything in life is easy in comparison. I've found this to be true thus far. Wrestling and the lessons I learned from the sport have helped me make it through the toughest times in my life.
  19. Joe Gallegos 215 from SB Clay has a pretty favorable draw. He beat Grubbs, his Friday night opponent, 7-2 already I believe. Then Buchanan (34-4) in the quarters is a very winnable match. Gallegos in the semi's wouldn't surprise me. And Reagan, 215 from Penn, beating Green isn't out of the question in my opinion. Good luck to these talented sophomores!!
  20. His road to state was not easy in Merrillville. Very impressive! Glad to hear someone took advantage of the new rule!
  21. Sandefer. March obviously couldn't defend Sandefer's double leg
