i'll say it again...this match was great for wrestling....they are both winners as are the fans.

best match ever in terms of the excitement. several times i had chills ....the beginning when the 12,000 plus stood and cheered was flat out amazing.

i don't care how he acts...thats his prerogative. I don't have to agree with it but its not for me to say how he or his father/coach act. Doesn't take away from the fact he is still one of the best wrestlers ever to wrestle in high school in indiana or the u.s. for that matter. i will also say coaches can do what they want to do also...even if they want to dab.

absolutely...the first time he literally ran out of bounds. The second time he was backing away and circling. Just because its 8 seconds doesn't mean anything...you guys need to forget about that part.

watched the match. I 100% agree Gray was stalling. With that said, probably about a 15% chance baumgartner could have been hit for stalling in the first overtime and when he kept dropping down and grabbing the leg and not working up, isn't that stalling too? If not, it should be. Lets face it guys...83% of the time if someone has a lead late in a match they are going to stall somewhat.

perhaps it was the right call? maybe it should be called more often? I think stalling is the hardest call in the world....is it stalling when wrestler A is ahead and he is being defensive and not trying to score? Should there be a set time between stalling calls? we'll answer these questions...as the world turns.

i could be wrong but I don't think he was talking about an actual entrance. I saw a door leading out from where the filming takes place propped open and people smoking. and yes the men's restrooms did run out of paper towels, wasn't a big problem though, because i usually shake the first persons hand i see after washing and not drying just to see the look on their face when they shake a wet hand

I'm no genius but what i do know is there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY CJ will bump to 138! (not sure if he is allowed to at this point) He is ranked #1 in his class in the U.S. ..why would he duck anyone. This is laughable to say the least.

fantastic...so its decided...brownsburg gets to host team state next year. on to the next topic. -
Here's the deal...we don't need to have all 3 classes at the same spot. 90% of the fans want to see a specific class...the other 10% can still follow on track. My idea is it have 3 different gyms host in 3 different parts of the state. For instance...next year the South will host 3A, Indy will have 2A, and the north will host 1A. The next year we will rotate. Should be fairly easy to do.

anyone have a block of rooms already booked downtown at a reduced rate that they would be willing to part with 1? Or if not, would anyone be interested in getting a block of ten rooms together. I think we could get a good rate at Embassy or maybe homewood suites...inbox me if you are interested.

pin or not its not for us to decide. Joe Lee had a great weekend. Great career for Brandon James. Superb performance by Cash. The guy was down but not out, much like Lee vs. James. I've said it before and I'll say it again...Sports can be cruel but its not life or death. Overall great weekend for Indiana wrestling.

When I first saw 24 qualifiers I thought to myself "how stupid". Now after reading more comments and thinking about it more, I am the stupid one. I LOVE the idea that semi state becomes even that much more exciting as we get 2 ticket rounds (provided that we wrestle it like the 2nd round on at state and not a true wrestle back). It makes the team title more of a team title because the teams with the best "team" will probably have more wrestlers at state, AND we MUST start scoring at the first round. I doubt this would EVER fly, but it is a GREAT idea.
