  1. This hour has been brutal for the Hoosiers. I believe: Knura Stein Mofield Todd Campbell Jackson are all out. Is this correct?
  2. As a Perry alumni, I have been proud of the wrestling program for 20+ years. It has been an extremely impressive run for the past decade for Coach Tonte, the rest of the coaches and all of the wrestlers who have been in that room. They continue to lay the foundation and set goals for the next group of Falcon wrestlers to work towards. Good luck next year and keep making all of the former Falcon wrestlers proud.
  3. I am gonna guess that this thread was started to talk about dub-C (Warren Central). I think they got last in the Marion County Tourney last year, so I am confident they will be much better than that this year.
  4. Unless he is transferring, I think Darrell Hogue wrestled for North Central.
  5. Harvey won the match. The discussion should be how the match was officiated and not how it was wrestled. The big guys do wrestle a different style, but that can be dictated by the referee. If someone never attempts an offensive move for 2 minutes, he should be warned for stalling at the least. If he is not warned, why change the game plan. Stay in good position.
  6. Harvey won the match without making ONE attempt to take Howe down. It may have been different if the ref would have at least gave him a caution. Maybe that would have forced Harvey to open up and perhaps make a mistake himself. Regardless, congrats on a great state championship!
  7. This is the best "useless" thread this board has seen all year...and there are tons of them. (but I don't have a dog in this fight either.)
  8. Sam Ackerman - Bloomington South - 98lbs - 1977-78 I think he won his soph of junior yr and chose not to wrestle again.
  9. The only true underdogs may be at 112, 171, and 285. And Petrov was a runner-up last year, so that doesnt seem too far-fetched.
  10. 103 - Boomsma - may be physically stronger than Boston 112 - Petrov - Avenges last years loss to Phillips 119 - Ayersman - better than the field 125 - McKinley - cant see Kieffer beating him again 130 - Molloy - toss up - going off hearsay 135 - Raley - beats Kieffer this time 140 - Tsirtis - too good 145 - Roach - experience in this situation wins it, but tougher road than expected 152 - Lefever - fort wayne always has ONE champ 160 - Anderson - can beat willis and should compete with other 3 undefeateds 171 - Lynde - wrestling as well as anyone 189 - Sliga - could be Stevenson or Berry, but I will take the Soph 215 - Reese - wrestles like he weighs 160, too quick 285 - Henson - seems to be overlooked
  11. Silva can beat the best at 185 AND 205. There is no way GSP wins his first fight at 185 against Silva...especially after seeong Silva do it again tonight.
  12. That front kick was freakin amazing. Everytime Silva steps in the cage, he amazes me with something different.
  13. That is true...u need 2 win two matches to extend ur season. Btw, one was left out of New Castle Semi-State McGinley vs. Ferrell ticket Rd
  14. Price Venezia Keiffer House Keiffer Roberts Rattay Scurria Johnson Harz - but Willis beats either Taylor Mofield Melby Thigpen beats Wallace, but Brown beats either
  15. gotta love technology. I have been waiting for these brackets since 1pm today.
  16. Question is...can Lecount beat Price in the round to go?
  17. Anyone have the scores of Uhls/Decker and Naughton/Taylor?
  18. I would say these three guys should make it through semi-state, if they are truly of the best 8 in the state.
  19. Do you know if this is higher or lower than previous years?
