Ragle of new castle vs Pugsley of shenandoah...they have wrestled 4 or 5x last two seasons with all being one point matches..Ragle bumped up to 126 at the recent dual and it was another war with Pugsley winning 6-5.. -
He has a chapter about him putting the legs in on me the night before SS in 02' in front of every pretty athletic girl in school at the time..It was down on the mats in plain site for all too enjoy.I still can't stand up straight...I officially know something tougher than ice skating up hill..

I think it was sectionalooking championship...NC was a that really good dual team too...the close actual dual was in 98 when they beat NC who ended up qualifying for team state iirc..

It's pitiful really..takes the fun out of the sport for many when this happens..they'd a difference in wanting the best for your kid but when you're trying to instil bad habits, that's where the line gets crossed..teaching kids how to wrestle is hard enough, the kids don't need bad habits that need broken..

Those are the same type of parents that try to teach their kids wrestling moves and they never wrestled..I literally had a guy furiously yell at his son to hit a PETERMAN lol...and when his son lost was grilling him hardcore..I told the guy there's no such thing it's a PETERSON and he wasn't having it....he said during his week of 6th grade wrestling that was his go to move...yea a whole week and this genius had a "go to" move

I had a dad attack my team mate at a freestyle tournament at Beech Grove in 03'...I was recovering from a surgery and was virtually useless..my buddy beat this kid in a very bk and forth match in which the kid was head butting my team mate and it escalated into a rough match..The Huge dad comes barreling on the mat shoving my buddy in the back HARD with a clubbing axe handle causing dang near whip lash ..I swung my back pack like a granny fighting off a robbery while I have 30 stapleseconds in my stomach..Jerry Ingles the official that day Threw the maniac out... I thought for sure the guy would be waiting in the parking lot...Fast forward a year later at bankers life and I see that guy again at state where unbelievably his son got 4th and I know he recognized me in the hall and just gave me the dirtiest look EVER...if somebody hits me I too would defend myself but Idk why it escalated to that...just my 2 pennies
