We have a handful of returning state champs with high national rankings and accolades. Guys like #1 ranked Red and near top #5 ranked N. Lee, Ryple, and Streck, that should be near the top of a weight class next year. Several returning guys with pevious national success but currently don't have their names in the national rankings. With proven past results they are currently floating around most guys watch list and could easily break into the national rankings with one or two solid showings. Then you never know where a few more names can could come from to add to the national list. We have some tough Junior state champs and runner-ups that that want to get their name out there to recruiters before their senior year. And a few very tough freshman and sophomores who want to start building a national resume.

Yes, that is how a true second works. It usually only employed when you need to determine the top two individuals for the purpose of qualifying for a certain competition or team. I've rarely seen it used when determining just who is 2nd place in a tournament.

My feed has been running decently smoothly the entire day with four mats going at once. Only a few very brief pauses in the action over the last two days. Is there possibly a computer or Internet feed issue that's slowing down the feed on your end of things. Shutting down background programs on your computer, watching only one mat, wiring straight in to a connection rather than wireless all may help some.

They gave the go ahead to start at 4:45, but I think they started a few minute ahead of that. Not sure what was announced as the next session start time in the Fieldhouse at the end of the previous session. With this live TV thing this year I'm assuming they wanted to ensure a little wiggle room.

Looks like it's Penn, cathedral, and EMD after this round in a close race with the rest almost 20pt back. Not sure how much the 3-8 placement round matches will do to seperate these three.

On face value this does look like a raw deal. But, looking into some of the fact it can turn into more of a grey area of the "right thing to do." By Bryce staying in the bracket it keeps Weimer in his original position. Which On paper gives him the best shot at making it the the semi-finals and placing high. If Baumgartner pulls out of the bracket it moves Weimer into an opening round match with Koontz (3rd last year) and on paper a good chance of not making it out Friday. Since Weimer had previously beaten Baumgartner this year and the alternate on paper wasn't a strong candidate to win his opening round match against Helm it seems like a stand up act for Bryce (and his coaches) to stay in the bracket to help ensure Weimer has the best oppertunity possible. Sure it does prevent an alternate from having the state experience (which sucks) but after looking at it closer this seems like a decent decision in a scenerio where someone besides Bryce doesn't end up with the best case senerio.

That kids a hammer. I thought he was going to pull that one off too. He'll battle his way back to 3rd tomorrow and be taking home the championship next season. -
I can see 120, as well as 145, and 170 going several different ways tomorrow.

That area has blown up in last ten years in terms of population, chain restaurants, and sport ability. Plainfields is also in there with some talent and Ben Davis is just outside the boarders.

Go to Trackwrestling. Click then click on event or directly to Trackcast. Subscribe to the video service (you will need to have a free Trackwrestling account). Pay the $5 credit/debit card fee. Your set to view the event on Trackcast. You can then either click on the mat you would like to view through dashboard (upper right hand corner of each mat feed) or at the opening screen for the event just open up the mat your interested in watching. In order to match multiple mats at the same time you will need to open up an entirely new web browser/window and repeat the previous steps then shrink down the window and video size (settings in top right corner of video) in order to fit multiple mats on one screen.

Not sure avout a replay, however Trackcast is covering all rounds until the finals tomorrow. The finals will be on TV as well as on internet through IHSAAtv.org

Nick Lee ranked 4th on Intermat and 6th on Flo at 132. He is the only Indiana Lee in those National Rankings.

Open an eniterly new web browser/window and restart the Trackwrestling process. Each time select a different mat to view. Then scale down the video sizes and windows so that you can fit all 4 mats on your screen. When you find a match you particularly like hit the full screen mode. After that match is done hit ESC and it should return your windows back to the four screen viewing setup. I'd also mute all of the audio feeds except for one so you don't have additional noise issues. Onviously you can turn on the Audio for the match you want to view if they have play-by-play for it.

Agreed. Plus, Nick Lee we will likely continue to see him grow and fill up his frame. I don't see those two being any closer in weight class next year.

I guess they could always hold it in Lucas Oil with the NCAA Final Four seating arrangement .
