    Ooooohh BUUURRRNNN!!! He got you! How dare you not know the weights of kids who haven't actually wrestled a match yet and others who probably will come down as soon as their weight loss plan allows them to? He got you dawg! I say you settle this with a dance-off!

    I know I am a certified assessor and a head coach. I let our trainer do the testing to eliminate the ethical questions for me doing both. However, neither she nor I were granted access to enter any data. My AD is the only person for our school with access to entering data. This to me can go both ways. The IHSAA is giving me the impression that they are encouraging AD's to take a more active role in this part of wrestling to ensure some more oversight. I wonder if they think this will eliminate any shenanigans that go on. I also wonder if this is a message that if the data is not accurate or ignored, the AD is the one that has to answer for it. Lots of questions from me but no real answers coming from the "Empire".

    I voted in the IHSWCA poll and received the email from Bobby Cox. I have not received the IHSAA survey. I replied looking for a link and also invited him to check in with you and get a copy of your results. I am glad you posted results on here to make a public record of what we voted. I wonder if the IHSAA will do the same.

    Once bitten twice shy. Y2 beat the class wrestling drum for the last couple years and he got nowhere. Of course he's going to be all grinched out about people supporting it now. Seems a bit hypocritical to say it's sad to lose team state and then say good riddance, but it happens when people get frustrated. My attitude has changed about class wrestling has changed over the past couple of years I will admit. I enjoy our current state tournament from a fan's perspective. I think it is awesome. Anyone who doesn't at least enjoy the atmosphere on some level is lying to themselves for sure. But as a small school coach, it's hard sometimes to get our community behind the kids because they assume it's a lost cause having to wrestle schools with an enrollment 5 times the size of our school. They equate school size with advantage. Classing in either tournament format will give more schools the ability to generate excitement within their community about their program, adding exposure to fans and younger kids that will develop into tomorrow's starters.

    The brackets on here are correct. Garrett Shepard from Paoli was the third place finisher at Jeffersonville, defeating Shane Sneed from Floyd Central 9-5. I have corrected the mistake with the tournament director and she assured me it will be taken care of with the state.

    Castle Regional from 171 through 285 just looks like 2-5 were entered and champions were omitted. Nothing to get panties in a wad about. I'm sure Y2 will correct it in due time.

    The seedings that were posted in this topic have a lot of wrong names on them. The brackets that were handed out after the meeting had all the original names on them and none of the changes were updated. If the coach entered a name that is not on the original first line on the roster, it was not changed. It will be changed this week when we go back.
