I just wonder why the Track video at State worked so much better than Regionals and Semistate ? Was it more Knowledgeable people running it , better equipment used or something else ?

Was such an entertaining Hwt match . Had me on the edge of my seat for 3 periods .

I agree . This was the first time I've seen Ruhlman this year . Wow , what a beast .

This is the best Track streaming(by far) this year. All mats and Quad view worked flawlessly for me.

First time I heard it was at a AAU tourney at Delta High School . They were playing it loud during warmups . I love it to this day Lol .

I said the same thing about Barket after seeing him take out Grange and DeMarco . Pack then beats Barket 8-0 . Pack has proven he's not easy to score on . Pack's 4th place @ 195 last year trumps Filipvovich's 8th @ 182 . But that's why they wrestle. If someone beats Pack , they are a bad dude .

Let’s not forget that as a single class , we have had our basketball state finals held in an NFL stadium. There are a bunch of people that believe that classing basketball didn’t hurt the sport. This may be true but it hasn’t helped it in any way either. -

That’s Penn every year. They never seem to have the full lineup in place until the Al Smith. This year was injuries Etc . In that string of losses , only about 50% of the kids were wrestling that you see today.

Well how else do you expect us to keep up with Region schools that regularly get transfers from Chicagoland schools LOL?

Can someone explain how a mat video changes by round ? At ECC mat 3 buffers constantly for first 3 rounds , Mat 4 was messed up as well for a couple rounds . For the final round , mat 2 was frozen for the last few matches . I thought I heard somewhere , there were trackwrestling experts at each semistate . It's frustrating to pay for something and not get it .

Class Wrestling would hurt the sport in Indiana just like it did for Basketball . Most people on this board would be all for class wrestling if we actually thought it would grow the sport . The only positive would be more wrestlers get Rings all while destroying the state finals . Indiana Basketball has been declining in participation and attendance at an alarming rate over the last 20 years . I wonder why ?

Have we lost 50 Programs in the last 5 Years , 10 years ? Why are we all of the sudden going to lose 50 programs if we don't go to class wrestling ? Small schools that don't/can't field a complete team are not going to magically find wrestlers if we go to class wrestling .

I don’t agree with that number, most kids start wrestling because they like it, not because they feel they can win a state championship.So how can you expect 500 more to come out for wrestling ? Talk to parents that have had kids wrestle in a state that has class wrestling. They will tell you their state championships are boring.
