What do you mean by competitive? I think we could bring them up to a top 15 status but having multiple champs and contention for a Team Title i think that would take much longer/be a significant challenge

I can tell you when we took over there was no offseason, a 2 week break of no practice during Christmas, and the technique was less than stellar...all things any program could fix but you have to have the athletes to make it happen...we have been able to get out kids that are able to commit to the sport all year as opposed to just during season. A school like Jimtown has 586 students total MATHEMATICALLY it is unreasonable to expect them to have the same results compared to Brownsburg with 2377 students. Selfishly i would love to have a one class system for all sports but realistically classing would be the best thing for it to evolve and grow.

This is slightly off topic but man it still is weird to me to see Brownsburg being put in the same vain as powerhouse programs like PM, EMD, Penn, Portage, Etc, a few years ago it would have been an 84-0 Massacre.....God bless this sport

There is one state champ overall...but I know what you're saying but the argument for a classed team title is pretty solid -
WHEN WILL MATER DEI STOP TAUNTING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If that match happens Ill be excited I had so many seasons end in tears thanks to Mater Dei its just such a personal rivalry. Respect the program tremendously, Coach Schaefer has kept the prestige going and even modernized the program a bit. Not to mention you got the Lee Brothers who are 2 of the best kids I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Here's to a "Meat grinder" of a state dual tourny....

Uhh that is how it is....The Dual Team State wasn't around until the 95 -96 season -
I believe if you just keep working wrists on top and are not actively trying to turn (power half, Turk, etc...) would be considered stalling I know id call it that way
