I don't think they did it on purpose, they did have another finalist at 189 to go and get back in line for. I don't think sasquatch has sour grapes only giving his opinion on the matter that is on his mind. Let us remember this is a discussion board where opinions are shared. I am a fan of shaking after matches, but it does not bother me that some teams do not. Matter of personal prefrence for each team. -
Congrats Taylor, it was nice to see you finally get that title. I thought it was also a nice sight to see all the family and friends waiting on the club level concousrse to show their congratualtions to him.

Warrendad, please don't take this the wrong way, I have nothing but the utmost respect for Caoch P, his reputation speaks for itself, BUT I am sure if you gave some of the other many well respected coaches across the state the type of kids he has coming to CIA, they would do a pretty good job too.

So what is the bottom man to do? Is it not his job to make every effort to work for the escape? Is it not the top man's job to work for the turn? It was a tough call against Eppert but if you are asking my opinion, I guess I would say I agreed with the call.

Infolady, you were a fortunate one who got a call. I have gotten one the last 3 years and did not receive any calls about the suites being available. Oh well have to get there early this year for decent seat.wrestlingmole, each year I got one I went through a sales rep at Conseco, but I hear it is better if you know someone with access to one.

The IHSAA site should have the brackets, at least up to the quarters updated by Friday evening. I am not sure if they update them throughout the day on Saturday, never really checked, kept track myself.

Good luck. They are completely sold out. I called about a week before Sectionals thinking I was early only to find that they were sold out already. I have gotten one the last few years and never called that early, this year for some reason, they were selling them a lot earlier and sold out very quickly from what the sales rep told me.

No it would not be an all day event. You could have simply kept 3 coming from Regionals and added the matches after the ticket round. Losers drop down wrestle each other and semi-final losers cross bracketed to wrestle through for what would be the second part of the ticket round. This would make it as long as the semi-state was this past weekend.

I believe you are a year off. Next year will be the 10th season at the fieldhouse. That is probably why nobody is mentioning it.

You can not blame the IHSAA for this happening. If Duckworth would have taken care of business last Saturday, there is a possibility this match would have been under the lights match

Thanks Karl, I have never actually been there and from the picture it looked as if 4 mats would be difficult to do. Seems like it would make a good venue though.
