  1. Both days will be on trackwrestling. Day two will be on IHigh as it was last year. We are producing a video for coach Smith which might be more Mishawaka till the finals. I will be broadcasting again this year so please be nice if you can. If not oh well. The winner will be interviewed at the end and may have you miss the beginning of the next match but our goal is to give you as much wrestling action. We are hoping to give you a good product. If you want the best product, I know Mishawaka will be happy to sell you a ticket. Note on Coach Smith that had some health issues, he was moving mats and cleaning mats this afternoon after being in the wrestling room in the morning. Hoping for another great tournament with minimal injuries to get the best matches. Jim Flatt
  2. South Bend Riley @ Penn Elkhart Central@ South Bend Adams Mishawaka@ South Bend St. Joe
  3. If it makes you feel better, Hall of Fame coach Al Smith will be broadcasting the Penn/Mishawaka match this Thursday
  4. I bet Mr. Faulkner and Mr. Aldrich would not mind you taking off work with no pay and coming over to the tourney and adding your two cents as the guys (Me being one of them) did that day. The connection at the school was bad and we only had one camera for three mats. Just donated my time to help out the school and the over 2000 hits we had that day. Sorry I was not Henry Wilk or Troy Hahn. Just wanted to help out.
  5. If you go to the Calumet Officials Association they have an up to date list of all officials in the state.
  6. Alvin R. Smith, Mishawaka High School. Need to say anymore......
  7. Northern Indiana: Rain, Snow, Rain, Lake effect snow. Indiana weather, watch it, it may change every half an hour.
  8. www.ihigh.com/cavemanathletics/broadcast_195143.html. I also have nothing against Broadcast sports. Just want to keep the Wrestling fans that are unable to attend up to date on how to watch matches as I usually do on the second day. Looking forward to a great tourney.
  9. Mishawaka High School has their own site now to watch Caveman sporting events. Visit cavemanathletics.ihigh.com
  10. Final Team Scores (placement) - 205 Penn - 202 Bellmont - 179 Mishawaka - Lawrence North -Merrillville - Prairie Heights - Center Grove - Jimtown - ? - South Bend Riley Most outstanding wrestler: Alex Gregory Penn
  11. Broncho Showdown Duels: - Lafayette Jeff. - Griffith - Zionsville - Delphi - Warren Central and - Roncalli
  12. Penn and Mishawaka's B-Team went against each other at the Rookie Classic at Elkhart Central with a Mishawaka win and a Super Duel at Elkhart Memorial which the score was tied and the difference was 1 unsportsman like by Mishawaka (Nothing Crazy, the wrestler was pumped up). Both matches to the wire. The deciding factor next year will be whom puts in the time in the off season. No matter what, it will make a great 2010-2011 season. Two damb good coaches, two damb good programs. Sub note for the future: Grissom and Discovery (Penn feeded Jr. high's) beat John Young (Mishawaka feeder). both matches won by single digits. Good luck to both programs...........

  16. South Bend Tribune has two things they look for in sports. PENN and NOTRE DAME. As you can see in the paper today Penn won a Holiday Tourney in basketball and it had to share the front with one of the biggest wrestling tournaments in the state. Tim Cleason (Hope I spelled it right) does a nice job covering the local wrestling scene in Northern Indiana. Maybe the papers North West (Region) could just use his articles like other papers do for other sports. He could probaly use the money.

  19. Update: Yorktown Defeated Muncie South Side 68-9. Winners for Muncie Southside included: Armantrout (112) Fall Bradley (125) Decision
  20. After checking around I found that Muncie South Side has had 3 matches this year: - 11-24 @ Eastern (Greentown) - 12-3 @ Jay Co. - 12-8 VS Yorktown I could not find any results to these matches.
  21. I was matside during this match. If you want to call someone for stalling then look at Mr. Sandefur. Kept grabbing a wrist and backing up. In overtime he was not looking for what Trace did to him, being that it was something he had not done before (front head lock and then schut him for the take down and the win. It was my 1st time to see them go against each other this year and it was worth the $5.00 I paid to get in......
  22. Riley's Hwt. (Auces) has thrown the Penn kid around all year.
  23. Was at Mishawaka for an officials meeting last week and they had Beck at 112 on the board. Hall should be at 140. Going to Riley tonight to confirm.
