  1. Man, you guys under 9 layers of ice? Can't handle a little cold, what? I thought you northerners were tough and didn't even wear coats or gloves......
  2. Yes NAIA can give athletic scholarships. Also the school sets the budget per team I believe, they don't have the scholarship limits from the governing body like the NCAA does. At least when I wrestled NAIA that's how it was. They also have their own championships. NAIA.org
  3. Birge's state championship match was a high scoring doozy. Adam Doherty from Jeff had a heck of a championship match in either 97 or 98. Hit two big head locks to come from behind and win 10-9 or something like that.
  4. Are you asking for best match we saw in person? Or just in general? I'll go with matches I saw in person. The matches I think of all have some type of a backstory that added to the match 1997 - Bono vs Mcilravy national championship match. Bono was defending champ, Mcilravy had taken an Olympic red shirt year. 2007 - Johny Hendricks vs Mark Perry. Hendricks was a 2x champ. Perry's uncle john smith. Match was in Detroit and Hendricks was despised by the Michigan crowd for his win over Churella the year prior. 1999 - Robert Rossbottom Jeffersonville vs Dan Jankowski Evansville Mater Dei. Seymour SS ticket round. Co- ranked #1. Rossbottom was defending state champ at 135, Jankowski was runner up at 140. Rossbottom had lost at Regionals to Steve Minton of New Albany, who was the eventual runner up at state. The match was electric. The Mater Dei crowd was wild. Rossbottom won a decision. 1992 - Savage vs Flair Wrestlemania 8. Flair was champ, Savage was heavy underdog. The Limousine riding, jet flying, kiss stealing wheeling dealing son of a gun Flair had hinted at extra-curricular activities with Ms. Elizabeth. The Hoosier Dome was rocking! Wooooooo! http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rTPRfk6B8mw&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DrTPRfk6B8mw
  5. I also hear that there will be matside DNA testing to see if tripleb and DonnieB are indeed brothers. Then they will bust out a kid n play dance and embarrass jc and Jeff.
  6. I'm out of town til late Thursday. I have wrestling Friday and Saturday. I will try Sunday, depends on Mrs TripleB and the ankle biters. If not Sunday then early next week.

  9. Of weigh ins? Here is live footage of what's happening right now http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=7&ved=0CEkQtwIwBg&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DUY5cZL3bFnE&ei=fa-1UpetMeeCyAGm8IHQCw&usg=AFQjCNERt-TrCM8wDgZqIwl0VpxGNSx_vQ&sig2=gX_vs78PdBxV_zU0JWhC4g Nothing
  10. It's a much more bigger picture. By trying to eliminate heavier weights, the lighter weights are taking out years of frustration from the bigger guys stealing their food and their girls. Us stud big guys were always an enigma to the anorexic, sickly looking light weights. It's just not fair that we are superior wrestlers, get to eat, and pull in the ladies. This goes much deeper than participation numbers, it's genocide of "fattys"
  11. Man, Zaxby's was the only reason Skinner left Perry Meridian elementary duals.
  12. I think half of them are banned from Johnson Arena!
  13. U and your kilt wearing buddies planning on crashing the party?
  14. Cancel the wrestling and just give them all participation ribbons bc its horribly unfair for them to wreslte. Or let's do a best of 13 match series and travel the state.
  15. At Jeff Classic this Saturday 106 has 5 ffts and 9 freshmen. No other weight class has more than 2 ffts.
  16. Madison is in, our check will be in the mail today.
