  1. I saw that Wawasse and Tippecanoe Valley were moved into the FT Wayne Semi-State wouldn't it make sense to also move Warsaw into the Fort Wayne Semi-State since they are only about a half hour from Fort Wayne? Then they aren't driving 2 hours to EC. Just a thought
  2. Brandon Wright got 3 medals for Cathedral and his last 1st place medal for Warren Central
  3. https://fb.watch/kDb-dZg2Wr/ I am at a loss for words
  4. Is he the first wrestler from Indiana to win a Hodge Trophy or have there been others?
  5. Ryan Jankowski from SBSJ was 46-1 Semi-State champ in I believe 2014 he had defeated the champ from that year at 182 Damian Chambers (Edgewood) the year prior but lost Friday night to someone from Southridge or Southport pretty big upset in my opinion.
  6. 106-Woods-Portage 113-Tolbert-Portage 120-Maldonado-Merrillville 126 Christion-Merrillville 132 Maldonado-Merrillville 138 Bohn-Munster 145 Wible-Hobart 152 Pellot-Merrillville 160 Crisp-Merrillville 170 Costello-Hobart 182 Cervantes-Griffith 195 Veal-Merrillville 220 Mcclelland-Portage 285 McNutt-Highland
  7. Conner Cervantes Griffith 35-0
  8. Thoughts and Prayers to his family and the team
  9. Daniel Young (CMA) vs Gavin McGinley (Cathedral) 2009 145lbs, the match was pretty close going into the 3rd period, after a flurry McGinley catches young on his back for a 5-point swing, Young manages to get a reversal and catches him in a side cradle for the fall, I say that was a pretty impressive comeback and Young finished the season 48-0
  10. Prayer to the family hope he gets better soon
  11. Hammond Central doesn’t attend this tournament
  12. I missed a few I was going based on rankings and wins I’ve seen

  14. This is off topic but have there been any Heavyweights with more than two championships most of the best guys I've seen have only won 1 or 2 but are there any 3 time heavyweight champions?
  15. His match with Lucas Davison at State his senior year was insane
  16. Stevan Micic vs Zach Davis a Harvest finals match in 2013 was 2-1 with Micic taking the win, that was an insane match
  17. Nathan Cleveland From Lowell (2010) and Gelen Robinson (2014) from Lake Central should definitely be on the list both I think were ranked nationally and State champions at 215 and 220
  18. Aramis Mcnutt (Highland) over Nathan Pacely (River Forrest) Pin
  19. Landon Westenfeld (Griffith) over ECSS #7 Robert Frazier (Calumet) Dec 6-5
