Depends on how many qualifiers would be coming and how many divisions. If you take two classes(150ish teams per class) and 16 state qualifiers per division you would have about 12 more small school wrestlers making it to state and about 4 more big school wrestlers making it to state.
See above and the "working harder" theme is hard to gauge, I know many kids that I would consider hard workers that probably won't make it to state. 
 
45ish, give or take a couple, the New England states are funny as they have their own state championships then a New England championships.
Need more specific in terms of "other sports."

Does it really matter??? ALL wrestlers work extremely hard day in and day out to get to this stage in the competition regardless of where they are located. ??

There’s some good competition with the Heavies. I’m going to say that the finals will be Pardons of Yorktown vs Oliver Baronick of Blackford. We know that Pardons has remained solid this whole season and will make it to finals. Oliver Baronick has worked hard all season and even in off season when he was wrestling for our ‘Travel ‘Team’, kid has great work ethic. Fans will get there monies worth on this match alone. 
Should be a fun bracket/ weight class. 

I'm so glad someone else has this opinion. I've been walking around all week thinking people are crazy or I saw McCammon on a bad day. Hands down Fiechter will take that win! All good wrestlers in 138, but clearly some are more technicals.
I'm going with an amazing battle between Rutter-Fiechter for 1st. 3rd place will be a battle of whether Wells-Meiring wins. 4th place probably McCammon but I'm not counting out Schricker of Jay County to make him earn it! 
My hopes: 
Fiechter, Rutter, Wells, Schricker

For anyone actually thinking McCammon has a shot at beating Fiechter at 138 you obviously have not watched both of them wrestle. Fiechter will easily win this match 

My bad, you're right. They didn't face each other at ECIC. My mistake. It was Oak Hill that #1 seed not Muncie Central. 

I agree. With McCammon tech falling South Adams in the early second period, I have him getting his rematch with Rutter. If he gets this rematch I wonder if he will rise into the rankings.

I also think that 145 could be a good weight with solid wrestling.  I’ve got Hunt over Young in the finals. Just don’t know about 3rd & 4th. I’m familiar with all of the wrestlers except Zack Mounsey, I’ve not seen him wrestle before. Of course the one I’m not familiar with Would be the one my son wrestles. ?

Not 100% certain all of their common opponents but I do know South Adams 138 is one of them. McCammon won by tech fall 16-1 and Fiechter won by decision 6-3. common opponents arent always reliable due to styles, how a wrestler may be feeling that particular day, etc. but i do believe McCammon will take this match in route to a rematch with Rutter. 

Don’t count McCammon out, he’s unranked however he might give Fiechter a tough Semi. I have my money on Colt by bonus points against anyone he wrestles this weekend

What is the rule for approved singlets during IHSAA State Series?? I will upload a pic of what I seen, I am trying to figure out how to crop the photo to delete the kid's face.

did anyone have a problem with Jay Countys' outfits ? (asking from a response from fight shorts thread)

I wasn’t impressed with the refs.....heard many complaints throughout the day

I understand the concerns with these new uniforms, but do your guys practice in singlets or all compression gear everyday? If not, these aren't an issue as a lot of our guys still practice in t-shirt, shorts, and even  sweat shirts/pants.
Yes the shirts should be form fitting and snug, don't have to be fully compressed, but at least not baggy. The shorts, even right above the knee seems to be long, I think they should make clearer rules on the inseam length set to a certain length so all shorts are same length. This would mean shorts for little guys can be bigger and big guys a little shorter, but I believe a better definition than just above the knees should to be addressed.

Is the #1 seed at 182 really a freshman with a 3-3 record?  Or is there a typo somewhere?
