  1. I've been saying this for awhile now that Semi-State should have wrestlebacks. How it's setup now isn't the most optimal tournament to get the best kids to state. I would say the same thing about regional aswell
  2. If you go out there and get your hand raised, it should count towards your record. Simple as that

  4. I remember TeamGarcia saying this not too long ago, and I can't quote it directly but it was something along the lines of '' I'm not driving an hour to see you pin a kid in 10 seconds". This would apply here, because if anything, it's mat time for both wrestlers.
  5. Maybe in the future we could have a LIVE broadcast with the other ranker' for a massive ranking session
  6. In addition to the obvious kids that will be at state, there are a lot of kids who could be dark horses and punch their ticket a few weeks from now. Lots of studs looking to take out the higher up boy's
  7. From my thread about this Here are the ranked kids from the teams going to the North Montgomery Holiday duals (Duals on the 29th, individual tourney on the 30th). Their rankings are State/Semi-State. 106 Jacob Simone (Hamilton Southeastern) NR/6 106 Preston Teusch (Huntington North) 16/4 David Pierson (Warren Central) NR/7 113 Darryn Kuhl (Huntington North) NR/8 Parker Moseley (North Montgomery) NR/8 Jevian Ross (Warren Central) 5/4 120 Reece Luhmann (Hamilton Southeastern) NR/4 Ian Heath (Leo) NR/5 126 Jacob Hall (Huntington North) NR/6 Seth Johnson (North Montgomery) 10/3 Aundre Beatty (Warren Central) NR/5 132 Ricky Haught (Huntington North) NR/8 Hunter Cottingham (Western) 10/2 138 Brailen Harrington (North Central) 14/8 Brice Coleman (Warren Central) NR/5 145 Antwaun Graves (Warren Central) 6/2 152 Cade Groves (North Montgomery) NR/5 160 Ronan Hiner (Hamilton Southeastern) NR/6 Konner Bender (New Haven) NR/5 Danny Acevedo (Warren Central) NR/7 170 Sam Hauke (North Central) NR/6 Aaron Taylor (Warren Central) NR/7 182 Brigham Kleinen (Columbus North) 16/5 Jalen Morgan (Elwood) 13/4 Matt Scott (Western) NR/7 195 Andrew Irick (Hamilton Southeastern) 14/5 Charlie Agnew (Huntington North) NR/7 Jonyvan Johnson (New Haven) 7/NR Nathan Bishop (Warren Central) NR/7 220 Kyle Cornwell (Elwood) 4/3 Crae Kunkleman (Hamilton Southeastern) NR/5 Jayden Elwood (Leo) NR/7 Tremor Bynum (Pendleton Heights) NR/7 Carlos Mitchel (Warren Central) NR/6 285 Marcus Stone (Elwood) NR/4 Luke Watson (New Haven) NR/2 Nathan Pullins (Warren Central) NR/8 should be quite a few good match ups, will be interesting to see what team comes on top. My guess is gunna be Warren Central
  8. After all the teams wrestle eachother in their pools, there will be another 2 rounds of crossover pools for placement
  9. Here are the ranked kids from the teams going to the North Montgomery Holiday duals (Duals on the 29th, individual tourney on the 30th). Their rankings are State/Semi-State. 106 Jacob Simone (Hamilton Southeastern) NR/6 106 Preston Teusch (Huntington North) 16/4 David Pierson (Warren Central) NR/7 113 Darryn Kuhl (Huntington North) NR/8 Parker Moseley (North Montgomery) NR/8 Jevian Ross (Warren Central) 5/4 120 Reece Luhmann (Hamilton Southeastern) NR/4 Ian Heath (Leo) NR/5 126 Jacob Hall (Huntington North) NR/6 Seth Johnson (North Montgomery) 10/3 Aundre Beatty (Warren Central) NR/5 132 Ricky Haught (Huntington North) NR/8 Hunter Cottingham (Western) 10/2 138 Brailen Harrington (North Central) 14/8 Brice Coleman (Warren Central) NR/5 145 Antwaun Graves (Warren Central) 6/2 152 Cade Groves (North Montgomery) NR/5 160 Ronan Hiner (Hamilton Southeastern) NR/6 Konner Bender (New Haven) NR/5 Danny Acevedo (Warren Central) NR/7 170 Sam Hauke (North Central) NR/6 Aaron Taylor (Warren Central) NR/7 182 Brigham Kleinen (Columbus North) 16/5 Jalen Morgan (Elwood) 13/4 Matt Scott (Western) NR/7 195 Andrew Irick (Hamilton Southeastern) 14/5 Charlie Agnew (Huntington North) NR/7 Jonyvan Johnson (New Haven) 7/NR Nathan Bishop (Warren Central) NR/7 220 Kyle Cornwell (Elwood) 4/3 Crae Kunkleman (Hamilton Southeastern) NR/5 Jayden Elwood (Leo) NR/7 Tremor Bynum (Pendleton Heights) NR/7 Carlos Mitchel (Warren Central) NR/6 285 Marcus Stone (Elwood) NR/4 Luke Watson (New Haven) NR/2 Nathan Pullins (Warren Central) NR/8
  10. Never lose faith in Forfeits! I'm waiting for the day when they will somehow bring down an opponent for their first victory! On a side note though, later in the week when I have the time I will be going through the teams for the North Montgomery duals and seeing what kids are ranked at each weight and any possible matchups that could happen whether it be during the duals or the individual tournament.
  11. Dec. 29-30 North Montgomery Holiday Duals, Duals the 29th, Individual tournament the 30th Columbus North Elwood Hamilton Southeastern Heritage Hills Huntington North Leo McCutcheon Mount Vernon New Haven Noblesville North Central North Montgomery Pendleton Heights Warren Central West Vigo Western Should be some good matches here
  12. Going off of what Y2 said, there is a lot of hidden work under the hood that does go into rankings. Some of it is cross-referencing matches, for example seeing how Wrestler A should be ranked if he beat Wrestler B, but Wrestler B beat Wrestler C who beat A. Based on scenarios like that, then they got to go then look at each of those wrestlers and see who they beat or lost to, and so forth. Definitely takes a lot of time to do
  13. Definitely will be a chance for our boys to test themselves against some decent competition! Can't wait to see the end results of this weekend's tournament
  14. This weekend our Indiana boy's will be seeing #9 Detroit Central Catholic at the Henry Wilk's Invitational. Here's what the rounds will look like Round 1 Mat 1: Penn vs Huntington North Mat 2: Zionsville vs Detroit Central Catholic Mat 3: Niles vs Culver Military Academy Mat 4: Valparaiso vs Edwardsburg Mat 5: Columbia City vs Warren Central Round 2 Mat 1: Penn vs Niles Mat 2: Zionsville vs Edwardsburg Mat 3: Columbia City vs Valparaiso Mat 4: Culver Military Academy vs Huntington North Mat 5: Warren Central vs Detroit Central Catholic Round 3 Mat 1: Penn vs Detroit Central Catholic Mat 2: Zionsville vs Valparaiso Mat 3: Niles vs Huntington North Mat 4: Culver Military Academy vs Columbia City Mat 5: Edwardsburg vs Warren Central Round 4 Mat 1: Penn vs Zionsville Mat 2: Niles vs Columbia City Mat 3: Culver Military Academy vs Edwardsburg Mat 4: Valparaiso vs Detroit Central Catholic Mat 5: Huntington North vs Warren Central Round 5 Mat 1: Penn vs Valparaiso Mat 2: Zionsville vs Niles Mat 3: Huntington North vs Detroit Central Catholic Mat 4: Edwardsburg vs Columbia City Mat 5: Culver Military Academy vs Warren Central
  15. Can we expect the ranked matchups or ranked wrestlers tomorrow or sometime soon?
  16. Definitely understand the IHSAA's views on this one, no point in having something there if it isn't worth it being there by it being low quality, etc.. Thanks for the feedback though!
  17. Do you think that the IHSAA would be willing to include camera feed of the matches at SS like they do at State? I find myself at times wishing to of been able to watch past matches at SS, but unable to due to the obvious lack of video footage.
  18. 126 Jacob Hall of Huntington North dec. Chris Schuller (State Q.) of Wawasee, 5-1
  19. Back on the old site, there was a feature to add a significant loss or victory to a wrestler's profile on here. Where is that feature located now?
  20. Where you at #TheCounty? Getting out-done by your boys up north! #TheNastyNorth
  21. In addition to what you said (partially in continuation), I expect to see many dark horses come from schools, whether it be incoming freshman or kids who are already in high school who may not have done as good as expected busted their behinds this offseason and are ready to cash in their hard work.
  22. I'd take Ledesma over Lawson. One of the common opponent's they both had was Hall from Huntington North, with both of them losing to Hall but with Ledesma fairing a lot better than Lawson did (Ledesma lost 7-3 and 5-2 to Hall while Lawson lost 17-2 to him). I also expect Hall to make a big splash this year, losing to Demarco from Garret (SQ) last season at Regionals. Ledesma also fell to Demarco at semi state the first round with the same score if I remember right (or something close).
  23. Caleb is haha, I was just doing my own stuff in the meantime just for fun. I can't near enough put forth the effort and quality he puts into his
