I am the head coach at Faith Christian, a 1a school in Lafayette. We have our biggest team ever this season with 31 wrestlers. I think a lot of it is our club team in the offseason and developing our feeder system.

You guys are doing big things at Cascade! I cant imagine it will take too long to hit 100 : ) I hit 100 this season in our first tournament. My first year we only had a handful of kids so we only won 4 duals. This is my 7th season as Head Coach. Coach Kuhn Faith Christian Wrestling

27 at Faith Christian. It's the biggest team since I have been coaching (7 years) but our school size has also increased.

I absolutely loved this event as did my wrestlers! There are always things to improve on from basically any tournament but I think this was a HOMERUN! I am excited to see how much this grows in the years to come.

It depends a lot on schedule. Some teams have 2 day tournaments or have a lot of competition at the beginning vs the end of the season. Also injury/sickness plays a role in it some as well.

Faith Christian should be considered for 1a. We are a tough team filling 13 weight classes with a 10-3 record. Our losses are to Rensselaer, river forest, and Kankakee Valley. We finished 3rd closely in a tournament setting against Cowan and McCutcheon.

We use matboss and I love it. I have used HUDL before and I don't think it compares to matboss. Matboss does a great job of keeping stats, video, records, and you can tell how often your team is logging in to watch video. You can email me if you want and I can send you stats pages or whatever you would want to see from it. jkuhn@faithlafayette.org

I agree completely about both the 106's and Tristen Hood. These are some hammers that could cause some interesting matches. I think 7 from Logan is where I'm landing.
