How many times can they miss so bad without being held accountable? Seems like a pretty high level position to be so obviously bad at.

Just got off the phone with Ticketmaster both sessions are available tomorrow to the public in a package deal. So parents are stuck with the dilemma of hoping everything goes right Friday or double purchasing tickets Wednesday to make sure they have a seat for Saturday. 

Unfortunately buying extra tickets is all we can do to ensure our family have seats.  Its not the most ideal situation whatsoever, the wallet is going to be hurting after this weekend.$

The kids and families that made it. Earned it! The mental wear and tear on a wrestlers family is unknown to anyone who hasn’t done it. Adding this stress of tickets at the end of this long grind is a bunch of crap. We just need to pull together as a wrestling community. Please help eachother as much as possible. The kids parents and coaches have sacrificed sooo much, just to have the IHSAA roll out this thoughtless process and make us all stress more. I pledge if I get any extras, I will be sure to give them to a wrestlers family. Let’s keep the info coming as we learn and help everyone out.
 

That's what I am thinking too. Not exactly sure how it will work for the parents of the Friday night winners. Are there 112 seats that are set aside from the public sale. In which case there will be no opportunity for the parents of the wrestlers that lose Friday night to buy tickets on Friday - they will have to buy in Wednesday in the public sale to make sure they have tickets for Saturday.

In previous years, ticket sales for Saturday opens Friday around 10 pm.......but the one year it was complete crap show.  People weren't able to get tickets till like 1 am......#TicketGate2024

Wow, they wrestle sideways in the Fort!

I really doubt it was the worst.  At least the Officiual got it right.  There were a number of issues at New Castle.  One I will not mention,  but one that just amazed me was when the top man had a scissor around the bottom man's body.  The Official was looking right at it (and the Assistant Official was in position to see it as well.  The bottom man's coaches are yelling that is illegal.  I see how the Official is beginning to look at it and I tell my friend..."He is going to call this an illegal hold".  He blew His whistle and signaled "illegal hold".  I could not believe it.  The top guys coach goes to the table and asks that the Official check with the Assitant Official.  I thought....now they will get it right.  They talked for a moment and did not change the call.  Two Officials looking right at it and they could not get it correct.  Neither wrestler was from our school so my objectivty was pretty high.  Stuff like this happened ALOT.  I have NEVER seen so many instance where coaches went to the table, and I am not sure I blame them because there were enough mistakes that the coaches began to question most everything.  I do not think they issued many warnings.

Just rewatched it again and yes I am sure. You can hear people screaming standing reversal, he blows the action dead for potentially dangerous and he starts them neutral with a 2-1 score. Wrestling happens and the next stoppage a minute later, the refs come together and change the call making it 2-2 with Kendall starting on top. You can hear the ref in the video specifically tell the table this is bad time.

Bad time is so rarely called that it’s often applied incorrectly.  Unfortunately, even when it is applied properly, it’s a double bladed sword.  Someone usually gets the shaft.  

I’ve heard some bad stories from this weekend, but this seems to be the worst.

Beck not getting swipes at the end of the 3rd is crazy. . . 

I have absolutely zero expectations for next weekend. I am fully expecting to not be able to get tickets, watch from my phone at the clarion inn, and spend way to much money at the blackjack table. 

Just watched Beck vs Clark how on earth was 2 NF not awarded for beck at the end! 

I was hesitant, as I am biased, but yeah... I saw 4 points that should have gone Beck's way. Great match though. Hopefully we get round 2 in a week.
 
Edit:  I also saw a ref fall down.  Pretty funny.  2 minute mark @ 157 semifinal at FWSS between Clouse and Russell.
