Both really nice kids but you would have to tip it Coles way,after all he's  the senior. Sectional will as always come down to depth. some 5-6 place match with a pin.Coach Lukaska didn't see it as bashing. Wish the Bison luck.

Appreciated your post Scott. Myles has been a great addition to the team not just on the mat but in the locker room and at practice. Coached at Benton Central for 22 years. Was coach Lukaskas coach. Don't know why I feel a need to respond but here goes. Never left BC for greener pastures. Coach Campagna and I were let go when the current athletic director took over. Harrison coach VanderAA asked us if we would like to come back to coaching. It has been a pleasure. Love the BC kids. Any perception that this coach has a vendetta against BC is laughable. Coached all their coaches and am friends with those that want to be friends. At Harrison we have a very nice feeder program. Former BC head coach Bayley at Klondike. Former BC wrestler Kyle Sylvester at East Tipp. Bart and Vince Coors at Battleground. Former BC wrestler and University of Indianapolis wrestler Johnny Henry leading drilling every day. Top that off with Scott Hinkel in the room every morning. Maybe you can say Trey McCartney "ran to greener pastures". would instead say he made a personal choice to better his chances. With this said Harrrison probably wont be a bison KIller. Not really on the radar. Myles and Cole will be fun. Cant it just be that way? I hope they are both ready. Cole should have the advantage as a senior. Beyond some individual matchup as a coach its time to make sure we are in great shape and ready.

I wish all the wrestlers in this Regional the best this year and hope each wrestler meets his personal goals wether it be at sectionals, regionals, semi-state, or state! Good Luck to all who put in the hard work and dedication in a sport that teaches you life lesson and how to push yourself on a daily basis. Go Get Them.....

They won't use 4 mats for the first round?

Logan regional has several quality wrestlers this year.  I think the depth of some of the other regionals this year could make for some bad draws for some of the better Logan guys.  With bad draws I think they get 4 out.  With good draws 8 or 9.  I hope I'm wrong and its much higher but it's going to be tough as usual, two or three highly ranked very tough guys coming from one regional makes for the high probability of a really bad draw.

Here's my take @ 138 - Both Myles and Cole can get it done both have won big matches when they count. I think the winner here will be the fans should be a great match.

Very classy coach - you've known Myles since he was 5, I guess I gave you to much credit. Good luck to Cole throughout the tournament he has the ability to go far I sincerely hope he does.

KV is wrestling very well thumbs up to all the wrestlers and coaches.

For what its worth.  That's the second time Harrison wrestled KV and Harrison won 48-28 back in December.

It should.  They have a great group of guys who have been making the sectional great for years, including an eggs and chorizo breakfast for the coaches that is out of this world.

I wouldn't overlook West Lafayette either,  not the favorite but they could make things interesting.  They have one of their strongest teams in a while,  and I know they haven't had a their full lineup out yet due to injuries.

The top three teams in the Lafayette Sectional should also be the top three in the Regional, although the order may change. They should also dominate the champions and the semi-state qualifiers, I would only put the TL sectional as a favorite at 113, 126, and 152 although there is always some talent there that surprises the field.
Three state qualifiers return from the Lafayette Sectional, Anderson-120, Strawsma 132, and Mote 170. All are currently the favorites, 120 being the deepest weight at the regional with three high quality kids in the mix. 138 should be entertaining with Krinz and Lukaszka both down there now, this match could end differently every time it is wrestled. 
I could see the Lafayette Sectional taking three out of four spots in most of the weights, especially the upper weights. The conference tournaments coming up should provide a better look at what weights everyone will end up at. Harrison and Jeff wrestle early in the year and a lot generally changes by the conference and sectional tournaments with their lineups. 

Just because this is one of my favorite topics every year. Seems like there should be some debate going on. Who are some guys to watch for? New faces? Top teams?

Logansport regional has some tough kids this year. this might be one of the better years for the Area in recent memory. should be some tickets to Indy from Logansport
