  1. 666? There haven't even been that many yet! You are a liar.
  2. You're profile says Adams Central. Because I saw it on on the internet, I'm going with that.
  3. Sounds like the official did the right thing.
  4. http://indianamat.com/index.php/topic/46799-defensive-pin/ This was also already a topic earlier this year. It's not that hard of a concept to figure out.
  5. Maligned is correct in everything he's said so far. Tech falls are permanent aside from a DQ.
  6. That rule only applies in IN after sectionals in the old team state format. If you wrestle the individual tournament a certain weight, you can only wrestle that weight class or one above it in the team tournament. Crown Point tried to bump Eric Roach up two weight classes and they were not able to, even though Roach weighed in at 152. He won state at 145 the previous week, so he was not able to bump up to 160 at team state. During the regular season a wrestler may weigh in at any weight regardless of where he was the previous week, day, or month.
  7. The Portage and Boone Grove dual was a real barn burner. The crowd was one of the bigger one's in awhile. I wasn't there but good dual nonetheless.
  8. Deal. How much do you want to bet the Orth doesn't get 3rd?
  9. Orth could run away with it. I would bet a lot of money he doesn't get 3rd. Christmas is also over.
  10. Haha no worries. Totally worth taking another risk of your teaching catching you to explain why you are in such a rush.
  11. This are make you sound smart.
  12. It sounds like Panther has had this argument with more than one person claiming to be from DA REGION. He even spells it in all caps every time. Sounds like he knows his stuff.
  13. 106 Cumm 113 Pep 120 Hud 126 Red 132 Lee 138 Jam 145 Cov 152 Fort 160 Hugs 170 Lyd 182 Oscorp 195 Ryp 220 Wood 285 Streck
  14. I've noticed. A lot of people still have Adams Central though even if is not necessarily their school. NateKoontz being exhibit A.
  15. He is referring to Gabe Koontz. Adams Central is is the default school chosen because it is at the top of the list. If you do not change it yourself your school will be Adams Central.
  16. Don't count anyone out! Crazier things have happened. I've seen regional alternates make it to state before. Its all about draws, match ups, and sometimes a little bit of luck.
  17. There's also not a clear cut argument that says Brownsburg is better than Avon (which I think you realize). Just because Brownsburg is ranked higher does not mean their wrestlers are going to perform better in the state tournament. When you have a few teams beating each other up it's hard to say who should be ranked higher, especially when it can change from one day to the next. This isn't college football where a ranking could keep you out of a bowl game or playoff. Being ranked 10th or 12th could change at anytime. Just let the wrestlers wrestle and the end result will work itself out.
  18. I said at LEAST 4. He could get all the way up to 13 if he keeps practicing that "tightest cradle of your life" cradle (redundancy). I prefer to use a horse brush rather than a comb. It makes me feel prettier for some reason.
  19. No way. Stephen could win at least 4 of them.
  20. From what I have heard (and I am not certain), the IHSAA does not score the first round because at sectionals there are a lot of first round forfeits that could in someway or another be significant. This trend follows all the way up to the state finals, even though there are no more forfeits after sectionals. A SERIOUS FLAW IN THE SYSTEM.
  21. Uhh yeah they have an online version? Do you even D&D bro? Puhlease. If you have no affiliation for any of the teams you shouldn't feel the need to credit or discredit their accomplishments. As Hook and Scholar have stated this format gives many more teams a chance at qualifying for a team state and that is exactly what it is called for a reason. It would be different if some random school hosted a tournament they called team state and only invited a few schools around their area. This is completely different. Every team in the state is considered and looked at.
