    Ouch

The Region doesn't compete in team events like this bc RWA kids are spread out through the Region, with several now competing at Mount Carmel. Nothing wrong with the Region. Their semi state always seems to dominate in the state champ category.
  2. At least ISWA corrected the issue with the 2 qualifier rule... oh wait no they didn't.
  3. Hmm, maybe there is something to this. My kid was left off the list after winning a national championship. They count 10 national champs, but only 9 names listed and highlighted... you think that would be easy enough to pick up. Also no mention of him representing the USA in the PanAM games, which was selected using USA Wrestling freestyle and Greco national results. Maybe this was put together before that occurred. Either way kinda seems suspicious that the 2 guys most vocal about 2 tournament rule end up with their kids being omitted. lol
  4. Great Dual, glad I was able to watch online. It was good to see Carson out there competing again, he looked great.
  5. Carson gets the last match of the night... fun stuff. Good luck. I heard Minnesota coach is there recruiting, he is sitting next to my sister.
  6. Has the live feed started, if so how do I get to it?

  10. This tournament was ran really well last year and had some great competition. Also all the matches will be live on flo if you can't make it and want to watch from home. @jakesdad make sure they check the free agent list on http://nationalmsduals.com site
  11. I love the digital copy so I can read it immediately, but I still look forward to receiving the paper copy. Can't get rid of it.

  13. Sounds like a good weekend of wrestling. But Hopefully they get rid of that dumb qualifying rule or at least modify it so it doesn't punish kids that are wrestling in bigger tournaments out of state.
  14. How is the magazine coming along? Will we get to order it soon? Also when is the next google hangout?
  15. There are already 60 plus kids(many top notch wrestlers) signed up from 3 different states with a week and a half to go. Not many from our area are going to Super32 or Conflict at Carver this weekend, so this is your last chance to get a good warm up before Preseason nationals and the up coming dual season. There are a bunch of satellite weigh ins, so no one should have to get a hotel for this tournament unless you want to. This is Indiana's version of the Celtic/Midwest Classic. Go on trackwrestling to sign up.
  16. Thank you to everyone that donated and for all of those who showed support for Jesse this past week. Jesse had an awesome time hanging out with his teammates and meeting the kids from the other countries. It will definitely be an experience he will never forget. Jesse was disappointed with his showing in freestyle which is his stronger style, but bounced back winning a gold in his weaker style. He worked hard all summer to get his Greco wrestling up to par and it paid off. Maybe this up coming year he can represent Indiana instead of just the US.

  18. We are trying to set up a great preseason event that will be a quality option for everyone. So far it doesn't look like there is much offered this weekend so there should be a lot of great wrestlers from IL, MI, and IN. I believe Michigan West is having a satellite weigh in for anyone in the Michigan area and Contenders for Indy folks. Fogarty might be doing one for the Mishawaka/South Bend area. If anyone else wants to host a satellite weigh in please let us know. This will be a good warm up for those going to Preseason Nationals. Register for the event through trackwrestling.

  20. Jesse hit is goal in 8 hours. Thank you to everyone who contributed. Wrestling fans and families are truly the best. Jesse received donations from wrestling families that live all over the state of Indiana. Thank you everyone. Jesse is feeling truly blessed and loved.
  21. Jesse was offered the freestyle/Greco 91lb spot on USA wrestling International team competing in Medellin, Colombia based off of his Nationals performance this past year. financially my family can't afford to send him, but after talking to a several people I decided to start a gofundme account to help get him there. Jesse is really excited to have this experience to represent his country and Indiana. gofundme.com/22c7gefg http://mk2.gofund.me/22c7gefg?rcid=4ebf2e44776111e686bbbc764e052a98
  22. I could only wonder how much better both Indiana teams would have been if there was a better selection process. The host state should not have any FF's and they also shouldn't have any problems getting the best kids at every weight to wrestle. Definitely need a new system. I wonder how many Indiana All Americans will be crowned at USA Nationals in schoolboy division that were not allowed in this event.
  23. If Chesterton can figure out where to put all their big guys, they will be tough to beat.
  24. If ISWA would have just made a 1 tournament exemption for any of these 3 (USA Nationals, USA National Middle School Duals, and Heartland Elementary duals) there would not have been this outcry. They also should have taken in account for those wrestlers injured. The reason everyone is so pissed off is because the kids this rule is hurting are the kids that are wrestling every weekend, the kids that are training 3 days a week and doing private lessons in Greco, the kids that are trying to better themselves wrestling the best competition in the country, the kids that are going to the RTC's. The people who chose to have a vacation or take a week off are not on here pissed off, all the people that are posting are parents with children who work their butt off and just want their kids to be able to go to their state tournament and showcase how hard they have been working. So the reason I made this topic was in hope that ISWA would make a change once they saw how many people they were upsetting in this organization, but instead they turned blame on their members and didn't listen at all to our concerns. And yes I called and emailed Louis Rosbottom, who did not want to hear any of these concerns. The hundreds of dollars we spent at all 3 of the above events as a ISWA team member meant nothing to them, so yes I am bitter and completely unhappy with ISWA. What does this teach your kid? Why did he work hard to make these teams just to be punished by not being allowed in the state meet? The kids at RWA will continue to train freestyle and Greco and they will be ready to wrestle when the opportunity presents itself... apparently it won't be for ISWA events.
