So are you saying that the IOC is out to get us, by eliminating our strongholds. I only ask this as I seen another website poster state the same thing. DO you think that the IOC just want to level the playing field(medal counts) to make it more intriguing to watch as to say, get the ratings back up($$$$$)

+1 The IOC also stated the need to cut wrestling was due to ratings. As a young child, I looked forward to seeing wrestling on the Olypmics. It has since been faded out over the years due to the "sumo" style of the sport. I say we introduce freestlye and liven things up a bit to bring the sport as we love back around.

As a coach, I tell my boys to put everything in their bag. They have a bag for a reason!!!!!! Does it always work that way, NO cause I always take home several items after every meet and try to find who the owner is. I wish you the best of luck in finding your lost item, and more importantly, Best of luck to your son at STATE.

Agree. This was one great battle between them two but I believe that Micic has become a much better wrestler since then. Sound on his feet, hard to get to his legs with his hand fighting skills and sound on top. I take Micic on a close one.

I tried to track him down on some tournaments and can't seem to find anything since his 2 loses. He was truly a phenom at his age/weight against other kids.. now that he is a little older, I was wondering the same myself- where is Stevo?

this goes to show how tough it is there at MD. A very tough wrestler that can't crack varsity now. Not taking anything away from Wyatt, but this team is tough to get a varsity spot in -

What a shame. Always the coaches fault when something doesn't go the way people want it to. Greg is a good coach and the team that he had to work with this year was young. MD fans have to realize that MD is not going to take 8-13 kids to state every year. The competition is getting tougher and tougher every day with all these feeder leagues going on(which is great by the way). As with any other team, they are going through a rebuild stage. Wait till next year with the likes of Lee, Hinderliteter and crew coming aboard. -
