113 is headlined by returning champ Garcia(Av). The first match that really pops out is 1st round Horty(Me) vs Lawhead(Br). Horty is having a good senior season, but he's going to face a tough underclassman who has been battle tested this season. Looking at some common opponent match up criteria, this makes for a tough match up. My picks for punching ticket to state Garcia,Egli,Petro,Lawhead Wouldn't be a bit surprised to see Horty over Lawhead. Just basing this off strength of schedule.

So, that's what they've been warning everyone about.

I'll start off at 106. This is a loaded weight class featuring 4 ranked wrestlers and a few that may be overlooked and flying under the radar. First round matches will put some great ones starting off with Scott(HH) vs another tough freshman Sego(IC). Sego is a big 106 with his 2 losses coming from top ranked wrestler(Rioux and Horty). Scott's 3 losses also come from top ranked wrestler(Casebolt and Ervin(Ky). This one should be good. Campbell vs Sutton. While Campbell is possibly favorite here to reach the finals, he'll see a tough underrated freshman Sutton(Boon). He's a scrapy wrestler who made some noise at regionals by beating Hinderliter(EMD). Lastly, there's the freshman phenom Rioux(Av) vs Senior Hinderliter(EMD). Does Meter Dei pull an upset here? In the end, here's my pick for the Final 4 moving on in no order. Sego, Campbell, Rioux, Casebolt

I agree on the refs call. I was at a regional match(last year I believe) and witnessed this same exact situation. A senior who had complete control of match was in bottom position and top guy then does a cross face with about :15 seconds left in the match and immediately jumps up(similar to this scenario), and shows ref his arm. Ref then DQ the senior in a ticket round match. Bad call there compared to this situation. I guess by any means necessary for a win sometimes. Can't wait to see these 2 battle again. -
Brackett now showing Owens out Kemper(5th) now in as 4 seed and EMD moved to the 2 spot. Anyone got clear confirmation on this saga.

Hope he's good to go for Reg. 195-Wilderman,Abshier,Rolley,Stewart 220-Boots,Sisk,Norman,Sulawske 285-Lichlyter,Ripple,Goff,Beal 126 could go either way with Lee and Willis 182- Guerrier could very well take the crown if healthy. Lichlyter has been hot and pinned everyone here lately. I'm taking his athleticism to hand Ripple his 1st loss.

Nice picks. I agree on most but have some changes in mine 106 is the same but I dare someone to overlook the size of West cause they'll go home. 126- I don't have Wright. I have Horn(Me) in and Nix taking 2nd 145- I'm picking the slick and scrambling senior Schaefer to be sectional champ here. 170- same picks but I see Brown avenging his SIAC loss to take home sectional crown

Of the 3 that I've looked at(Avon, Castle and Central) they seem littered with FF. Maybe I'm wrong, bit this doesn't seem to be the norm for years past.
