Coach, I couldn't agree more about the forfeits, that is very fraustrating! But I do not believe that we were outclassed in the slightest. I may have read this wrong and I apologize if I did. However, as a parent and fan that drove to York, PA to watch our athletes first hand and the way they battled the best kids in the country, not one of our boys were outclassed. The team members we had wrestled at a very high level and I left there afterwards very impressed with how good our kids are with the limited amount of time spent training for freestyle/Greco. The coaches were spectacular as well. I surely hope no one sits back and thinks we, as Team Indiana were outclassed by anyone or any team there. We fell victim of 4 FF's and medical skin issue which took one of our boys out of competition but the ones that stepped on the mat were and are the cream of the crop.

At first glance it appears Brownsburg has 3 wild cards. But you have to consider they also don't have 2 of their own studs in Lee and Mills.

Can anyone post the line-up for our Cadet Duals team?

Indiana Outlaws Gold middle school team is 3-0 after day 1.

Viduya will be right there w the best of them. New RHS Coach Wade McClurg will have a fun for years coaching Alec. I'm sure he'll bring in some studs too!

I'm pretty sure Coach Schoettle and Coach Richardson w Perry would be interested.

Great tournament, our kids wrestled their butts off. Big shout out to the coaches as well as Matt Brewer and Jason Miller for making this such a good experience for the kids and us as parents. We had a blast! On a side note: if there was an OW award, my vote would have been for Jesse Mendez. Wrestled lights out all weekend.

This is awesome! This site has definitely put Indiana on the national map with the Preseason tournament and the work Y2 does is phenomenal. Proud to be a member!

Freestyle is dying in Indiana. I don't have the answer but each year tends to get worse w numbers. When my oldest (whose now in college) was wrestling freestyle at the fair grounds, that was a huge tournament. In fact, it was THE tournament to be at. I was just looking at some of his brackets that had 55-65 kids in it. The local tournaments would have 10-15 kids in every bracket, for the most part. Crazy bad how things have changed.
