Richmond RTC begins tonight, March 6th. Workouts will be 7-8:30 at Richmond High School. The wrestling room is above the pool in the Tiernan Center. -
Richmond is still running an RTC on Thursday's from 6:30-8. We will have it every week, except July 4th, until the end of July. We are still having 15 or more each week with a variety of sizes, ages, and skill level.

Is there still RTC at Purdue on April 3rd? 6:00 start time? I am planning to come and have a heavyweight coming, are there bigger guys generally there?

Chad Red of New Palestine High School and Red Cobra Wrestling will be running the Richmond RTC this Thursday March 28th from 6:30-8:00. Please join us for an always intense, high paced workout.

Richmond will be hosting an RTC again this year. We will begin on Thursday March 7th and run every Thursday thru the summer. Times are 6:30-8:00. Need Input on Dates for 2012 Fall Coaches' Clinic

As a football coach also the Friday/Saturday is not good. I like the later Thursday evening and Friday until 3ish option. This helps eliminate a day of being off and would allow for football guys to be back. It was this way a few years ago and I thought the attendance was better than many years. We could do round table, rules clinic, and social on Thursday evening. Have the guest clinician teach on Friday. Jeremy Bane Richmond Red Devils -
Thank you Coach Red for running our RTC tonight. We had 28 wrestlers take advantage of an intense Chad Red style practice. Non-stop pace with lots of conditioning exercises mixed in. Showed some good ducks with variations for all 3 styles and then took the technique to the mat. Great workout with many drenched shirts at the end. We will continue our RTC until the last week in July. All USA cardholders welcome any Monday night.

Next Monday May 7th Chad Red will be running the Richmond RTC. Coach Red is currently coaching at NewPal High School. He was formerly the Head Coach at Lawrence Central and Owner/Coach of Red Cobra Wrestling Academy. He was a 3 time NCAA qualifier and an NCAA All American.

I would like to Thank Coach Holden for running the RTC at Richmond tonight. Numbers were a little low, but 25 wrestlers took the opportunity to receive some great teaching. If you haven't been in a workout ran by Coach Holden, you are missing out. He did an awesome job tying all 3 styles together, and emphasizing the transition from one score to the next. Thanks for the instruction, character discussion, and workout.

Josh Holden, Indiana State Champ and Head Coach at Greenfield Central, will be running the workout tonight. Focus will be Folkstyle to Freestyle transitional wrestling. Come and get an extra workout in for Freestyle State.

I would like to Thank Ben Wissel for running the RTC tonight. We had 37 in the room. Showed some fun trip techniques and worked on chasing down leg attacks. As always with Wissel, there was some intense battling to finish the night. Thanks for the workout Ben. Next week Josh Holden, Indiana State Champ and Head Coach at Greenfield Central. Always have partners for every weight 90 pounds up. Join us for some good "offseason" training.

I would like to thank Coach Duncan for running the RTC tonight. We had 34 wrestlers that took advantage of the great workout and teaching from Coach Duncan. Covered lots of areas and banged a little at the end. Next Monday, Ben Wissel. If you are in east central Indiana, this is a great place to improve your skills on Monday evenings.

Richmond RTC is on Mondays from 6-7:30. We will be having guest clinicians the next few weeks. 4/16 Courtney Duncan- Indiana State Champ, High Performance Wrestling Club, and Pendleton Heights coach 4/23 Ben Wissel- Indiana State Champ, NCAA All-American at Purdue, and currently Assistant Coach at Purdue 4/30 Josh Holden- Indiana State Champ and Head Coach at Greenfield Central High School 5/7 Chad Red- Red Cobra Wrestling Academy and New Pal coach We have had about 40 different wrestlers in the room. Each night there are usually 20-26 with all weight classes covered. Always looking for new partners in the room. If you have questions or need directions don't hesitate to call. A coach from another school did ask a NC assistant coach about Conner at the seeding meeting. The reply was: "good question, where is Conner." Asking still does not mean they would have put him into a weight class. Sometimes it is strategy, sometimes uncertainty about a teenage boys health, commitment, or best interest? Everybody will have their opinion, I may not fully agree with the event, but Rex is still a great coach that does a lot for Indiana Wrestling. You still have to beat the best to be the best. Richmond will be at the New Castle Duals and not Hagerstown. The wrestling starts at 8:30 there. I believe Zionsville is the team that is no longer there.
