    No practice? That's wild.. Our school doesnt let teams participate in a sporting evenif there's no school that day..wonder how they'll make this work

    It's a pretty good pay.. At our school, the money is often taken out of our own pockets and then given to those who help. Its hard enough to get good help, let alone keep them from leaving. At the end of the day it's all for the kids so if I can help with gas this week or next week along with giving a few hundred bucks at the end of the year it's all worth it. Riddle me this, the basketball team has less than half the number of athletes than we do on the team. Have had 1 winning season since 06' and their coaches get paid almost double than what the wrestling coaches do..

    Can go through and cross out all of the wrestlers who didn't make it to state what you have done in the past... Looking at the rankings it's always fun to see who made it and who didn't. Got a love those underdog story, although our rankings were pretty good. I heard that 75% of kids aren't made it to state. You always do a phenomenal job each year

    Where else could it be hosted? That place is way too over crowded! I look at Evansville and ft Wayne and they both have great venues where you can watch great wrestling and be seated comfortable Is this a rumor is it it true. I was told this wasn't even their main gym but their aux gym? Announcer is boring... You could easily find someone else who has a little more excitement. Especially during the cross over.

    Clinton Prarie over by Frankfort has the biggest wrestling room I have seen or been in.... They have on average 4-5 wrestlers each year lol... such a shame! They have a huge field house and the wrestling room spans the entire length

    It's a very sad day to see the end of the Midwest conference.. It's all I've ever known, so next year will definitely be a little different.. Many great memories both middle school and High School came from the MWC. Coach of the year goes to Holeman! Congrats to him. He really turn that program around and is done a lot for that school and community. A true stand-up guy Gar pow taking home wrestler of the year! Congrats to him. Kids legs are tree trunks, an exciting wrestler to watch. I was shocked fritz didn't get the award. Wish both wrestlers luck in the tournament

    Lol you tell me that if you won a state title, you wouldn't celebrate? Get outta town I think I know which match your talking about.. Steven Sanderfur did an amazing break dance after he won. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Amazing wrestler and pretty good break dancer as well

    What an exciting weekend so far... I love some good ol fashioned wrestling... Used to seeing blast doubles and wrist & halfs.... But wow This year was definitely the year of the SPLADLE... What do they teach those Evansville kids!?!? SPLADEL in the state finals! Talk about getting the crowd pumped up!!!!! ;D ;D ;D
