  1. Oh yea it was Cannon that got him not Hill! I remember the clock malfunctioning in their match and Brimm got tossed to his back and had to fight off the pin which seemed like an extra minute. By time he got up he was gassed and Cannon cruised.
  2. Facts! I believe it was Schneider who placed in the state but unfortunately ran into Brimm along the way starting in sectionals! I remember Brimm hitting the 360 ankle pick on him!
  3. He broke my heart by beating James Brimm!
  4. Definitely up there! I was there I believe the RCA dome at the time. The buzz in the air was unreal!
  5. Tonte makes a good argument, but just the eye test it is always Brandon James and Craig Macke for me! Macke was knocked out twice by arguably the best to do it in Indiana in Angel Escobedo!
  6. Obviously Cottey vs Egli is ridiculous, but another one that stood out was 30-1 Purdy vs 29-1 Simpson on Friday! Any other great Friday matches out there? Edit: Eastin vs Fuqua at 170 is a great one as well!
  7. Torres, Freeman, Pierson, Dalton, and Stroud all on the same side of the bracket!
  8. Btw I’m not a “MD Guy” I didn’t even go there, but I am from Evansville so I do root for the hometown kids!
  9. Is it me or does MD seemed cursed with these bad draws? Hayhurst vs Watson in semi state, Boarman being on the same side as Mendez, Egli makes a statement by pinning Coy and draws into returning champ Cottey, Ross possibly meeting Lemley in the second round, Parkinson drawing Walker in the first round last year, and the list goes on.... If I’m MD I’m razing the gymnasium to see if there’s a goat buried under the gym floor!
  10. I still think it’s a pick em, and Cottey taking out a 1 may really impact the race.
  11. I’m guessing he had a date or something he needed to get to tonight.
  12. Yea best Castle prospect since the Welch’s and has a chance to surpass Castle all-time great Thad Oldham!
  13. 106 zirklebach over Shreck might be a slight upset.
  14. Ouch! I believe I was there for that one!
  15. Hayhurst vs Watson plays into recency bias, but refresh me on worst draws than this?
  16. Hayhurst vs Watson ticket round hurts my soul.
