It's unreal how good he was and knowing what I know, and that's not really a thing to be shared in public forum.. Breaks my heart knowing that not only did he pass away in a terrible fashion, but all the wasted talent and hearts he broke in doing so... Bubba was his own worst enemy and that's the reason he's no longer with us, and our family was so gutted losing him and then 8 years later losing my other cousin to similar circumstances.. The bubba that pinned his way through state finals, a week after having a fever of 102, cutting to make the HW LIMIT and being a man child, it boggles my mind that he did what he did only half hearted training.. this isn't a pity party excuse post this is to put into perspective how dominant he was, and was not living right. Wish I could find that 95 state finals I just looked him up via Indianamat records... wow! Have we ever had a junior pin his way to a state championship? Bubba lost his sophomore year by one point to the eventual 7th place finisher. He went 2-1 under the old bracket format. Bubba won in the finals in one minute and 20 seconds against against BJ Scott, who was a junior and got 3rd as a senior. How tall was Bubba? Did he wrestle any in the off season? Wasn't close. And, Frank Hammond was just OK. I would pick Larimore or Chico above him. Or the the Whiteland kid from 2000.

Paycheck141
This is off topic but have there been any Heavyweights with more than two championships most of the best guys I've seen have only won 1 or 2 but are there any 3 time heavyweight champions?
