Cavemen103
Just because this is one of my favorite topics every year. Seems like there should be some debate going on. Cavemen103
Jeff should be the favorite here. But it will be very close team race. I see you beat KV in a close one last night. I thought I saw they beat Jeff at home? With these scores Jeff vs Harrison looks like a toss up. Has there been a notable changes to either roster since Jeff beat Harrison? That Jeff sectional could be brutal in a couple weight classes should be a great day. When does the conference meet take place?
Wrestling Scholar
Conference meet will be at Jeff on the 23rd. Jeff has put together a good team this year and they wrestled very well in the dual meet. There were some really tight matches in the dual with Harrison that Jeff came out on top. Harrison did have a couple of guys out that night also. It should be fun to watch. Edited January 13, 2016 by Wrestling Scholar

Wrestling Scholar
I wouldn't overlook West Lafayette either, not the favorite but they could make things interesting. They have one of their strongest teams in a while, and I know they haven't had a their full lineup out yet due to injuries. Pops
CoachM
The top three teams in the Lafayette Sectional should also be the top three in the Regional, although the order may change. They should also dominate the champions and the semi-state qualifiers, I would only put the TL sectional as a favorite at 113, 126, and 152 although there is always some talent there that surprises the field. Three state qualifiers return from the Lafayette Sectional, Anderson-120, Strawsma 132, and Mote 170. All are currently the favorites, 120 being the deepest weight at the regional with three high quality kids in the mix. 138 should be entertaining with Krinz and Lukaszka both down there now, this match could end differently every time it is wrestled. I could see the Lafayette Sectional taking three out of four spots in most of the weights, especially the upper weights. The conference tournaments coming up should provide a better look at what weights everyone will end up at. Harrison and Jeff wrestle early in the year and a lot generally changes by the conference and sectional tournaments with their lineups. unknown wrestler
106# Mcartney -Harrison Coon- Benton Central Webb-Rensilear Lewis Cass 113# Donavan-Logansport Randell-West Side Watts-TWIN Lakes Harrison- Either wade or koopman gets it done 120# White -Rensilear Anderson-Jeff Betourne-Harrison Reagan-delphi 126# Logansport-Donavan Watson-Delphi Warran-Rensilear Wade-Harrison Round up so far: 106# Match between former BC wrestler and a BC wrestler. Mcartney has put a lot of work in this summer. Coon and Mcartney wrestled once this season with Mcartney coming out on top. I see this match closer this time around as the bison wrestler pushing the pace. 113# The berry wrestler is very strong for this weight and you can see it! Randell will not back down in this one, definitely gonna be a barn burner. 120# Returning state qualifier vs the (funkmaster) white.Call me crazy on this one but I see white winning. The funny thing about this weight is all four guys from jeff section can win this weight and punch a ticket. 126# Back with a berry who is no stranger to the finals match on his home mat. To me this a three way race and will be decided on who ever wrestles better that day. Warran has the funk and is tough on top like white at 120, then you have a delphi wrestler that can push the pace on his feet. cougarlion
I thought Wade was at 132 ? But I love the Koopman pick!! Kid is tough junior if he breaks into the lineup!! Is 132 as tough as 126 this year? Heard Jeff was unstoppable!! ..... Keep the picks coming....all I know is don't overlook the twin lakes sectional....if you do you will go home early!! Quality this year....not quantity....... Edited January 16, 2016 by cougarlion

Webb beat Mcartney 10-1 last year at regional, but lost to Coon last week. I was impressed with Coon's aggressiveness and how physical he was when BC came to visit the Bombers. Sounds like a strong year for Logansport I hope so. I dread the Semi State topic each year when the joke is how many #1 from Logan will get picked off in the first round by a #4.
