Harrison just being mentioned in the many threads is a positive. Of course Hobart would most likely win a dual but again just being in the conversation is a win. Logan’s regional will continue to send a few through but it’s not going away. Stick around Bricky. We’re not close but for the first time in awhile we can see you ahead and we’re gaining ground. Two forfeits and a desicion. Finished fourth at the Mansarek in Ohio. Finished behind the Kentucky state champion and the Ohio 4th. Had two more pins . Has pinned 97% of wrestlers he has beaten

Donnie Crider West Lafayette Harrison came into the season with 129 pins. After yesterday at the Mansarek in Ohio he is 28-0 with 25 pins.

Appreciated your post Scott. Myles has been a great addition to the team not just on the mat but in the locker room and at practice. Coached at Benton Central for 22 years. Was coach Lukaskas coach. Don't know why I feel a need to respond but here goes. Never left BC for greener pastures. Coach Campagna and I were let go when the current athletic director took over. Harrison coach VanderAA asked us if we would like to come back to coaching. It has been a pleasure. Love the BC kids. Any perception that this coach has a vendetta against BC is laughable. Coached all their coaches and am friends with those that want to be friends. At Harrison we have a very nice feeder program. Former BC head coach Bayley at Klondike. Former BC wrestler Kyle Sylvester at East Tipp. Bart and Vince Coors at Battleground. Former BC wrestler and University of Indianapolis wrestler Johnny Henry leading drilling every day. Top that off with Scott Hinkel in the room every morning. Maybe you can say Trey McCartney "ran to greener pastures". would instead say he made a personal choice to better his chances. With this said Harrrison probably wont be a bison KIller. Not really on the radar. Myles and Cole will be fun. Cant it just be that way? I hope they are both ready. Cole should have the advantage as a senior. Beyond some individual matchup as a coach its time to make sure we are in great shape and ready.

Both really nice kids but you would have to tip it Coles way,after all he's the senior. Sectional will as always come down to depth. some 5-6 place match with a pin.Coach Lukaska didn't see it as bashing. Wish the Bison luck.

Congrats Gentlemen. And too all assistant coaches who work everyday. A shout out to assistant coach John Campagna, Harrison West Lafayette. 25 years of coaching. 21 with Benton Central the last 4 with Harrison. A mentor to Brad Harper, an inspiration to the kids he coaches on a daily basis a great friend and tireless worker and defender of the program.In his 4 years at Harrison 4 sectional champions and 3 regional champions. A true quiet leader.

Blame Hinkel? For a dual meet you yourself said coaches have no say in.Hinkel isnt the coach. Ersland and Goldman could have moved it. Really?Blame Hinkel? Really? Schedule Probably already made up? Really? Have no bone against Ersland. The thread sites a transformation. Just an opinion, but PU messed this one up.

Respectfully, If Coach Ersland has said moving a dual is a priority than he has some control. Why Did PU have monday night matches? Because Hinkel worked with other coaches to schedule Times/Locations to best showcase the PU product. Big 10 coaches have free will to schedule/change time and location with other coaches. That is fact.

Great transformation? Lets schedule a match SuperBowl Sunday, Oh and hey wouldn't the Friday night of the State High School tourney be an excellent chance to showcase the TRANSFORMATION. And lets recruit in Jersey and Michigan nothing in state worth signing. 150 at the last Alumni event with Hinkel 10 this year. Stay Agressive!

Nothing against West Lafayette but that's like two years in a row the Journal and Courier has an article right before sectionals about "You better watch out for West Lafayette at sectionals". The journal has a long dislike of West Lafayette Harrison. Newspaper aside take nothing away from Coach Roseman and his guys.They come to battle every year.

Great conversation. Like where your going Cougarlion and Headlock83 great observations. Would like some Love for Mike Kern. 47-4 two losses to the Richmond heavy once ahead 5-3. lost to Valpo and Merryville. Underweight but benches 400 pounds and has a ridiculous gas tank.Also a little love for Lukaszka Benton Central. One loss and a boa constrictor on top. When Miller makes it it wont be because of a lucky draw. Instead its because hes a stud. Cougarlion dont count out The Raiders this Saturday. 13 strong with most likely 6 finalists.

Cougarlion it was very interesting. A very strong Lafayette Jeff team did all they could. Some Bison did get in the way in the finals a couple of Red Devils too and that helped Harrison some, down 47 going into wrestle backs Harrison went 7-0 all pins, Too much depth at Harrison. 13 to Regionals,Equal it seems to their number of coaches,
