backtothemat
is not to be taken for granted at this time of year. As a first year high school wrestling parent, I am realizing how brutal a high school wrestling season is. Just at the Castle Regional alone, we have good wrestlers missing out or limping in as a result of various illnesses/injuries, including: Mono Quad Strain Concussion(s) Detached Retina Dislocated Knee Dislocated Elbow Back(s) Knee Sprains and/or Ligament Tears Unknown illnesses And I know each of the 15 other regionals have their own stories. Just hoping: That for those wrestlers who are left: may they continue healing as they move on, may no more injuries occur, and may they decide their own fates (and not leave it up to the refs - at weigh-ins or during the matches)! I see you got one of them through to Regional. Keep up the good work and good luck this weekend. FASTMarine and jmcandrew
