Y2CJ41
Looks like 2A will get shaken up with Jasper going up. That moves New Haven down and they are at 248.1 points which puts them in line for a wildcard. Twin Lakes is now the Merrillville semi-state leader also. In 1A Woodlan moves into position for the first voted on wildcard with 198.33 points...even though they had 3 forfeits plus five seniors.

Welcome to 1A. There aren't many full lineups in 1A, so several being considered got into the voting with 2 or 3 forfeits.
AlaskanMountie
What is the cut off, enrollment wise, for 2A/1A?
maligned
What is the cut off, enrollment wise, for 2A/1A? I'm not with my information, but North Posey was the largest 1A school with 514 or 510 students. Someone else can verify.
Y2CJ41
1A is 513 students and below North Posey the biggest 2A is 1068-515 students Oak Hill the smallest and New Haven the biggest 3A is 1086 and above Columbia City the smallest
hummels
That can't be right. A school with exactly 513 students would be in both 1A and 2A. A school with exactly (1068 or 1086) would be in both 2A and 3A.
Y2CJ41
North Posey is the biggest 1A school with 513 students, thus any school with 513 students or less is deemed 1A Oak Hill is the smallest 2A school with 515 students New Haven is the biggest 2A school with 1068 students Thus any schools with 515-1068 students is deemed 2A Columbia City is the smallest 3A school with 1086 students, thus any school with 1068 students or more is deemed 3A Note: Mater Dei is technically the smallest 3A school
WrestleMan
Out of curiosity could Mater Dei move to 1A for next year if they don't qualify for the IHSWCA State Finals in 3A?
maligned
Out of curiosity could Mater Dei move to 1A for next year if they don't qualify for the IHSWCA State Finals in 3A? They committed to two cycles of 3A (12-13 and 13-14 events), so this isn't possible. Next season, teams will again be given the chance to move up and they could then choose to be lower for two seasons.
