In "RISK/REWARD", you will have a chance to earn points or receive penalties based on these probabilities. Here's the game: 1. Choose any 5 Team Regional Champions you want. But be careful! There is a risk and a reward for each. The higher the probability that your pick will win regional, the less points you earn if your pick is right. Also, the penalty for missing the pick is higher! (Examples: Earn 21 points for a correct pick of Roncalli or a 79 point penalty if they don't win. Earn 92.9 points for a correct pick of Prairie Heights, but subtract only a 7.1 point penalty if they lose.) 2. Choose any 5 Team Regional Runners Up you want (not necessarily same regional). These earn you points only and have only small value. Again, though, teams more sure to win their first matches don't give you many points. Missed guesses for runners up have no penalty. 3. Calculate your final score as Points - Penalties + Runner-Up points. To break it down: Pick any 5 champions you want and any 5 teams you think will be runner up. Taking underdogs that win will earn you more points. Taking favorites that lose will cost you more points.
