  2. You basically just repeated yourself and you definitely minimize what he said and did. I wonder how Iranian wrestling fans would respond to some anonymous person claiming Iran systematically cheated for years and all of their accomplishments are tainted...without one shred of evidence. Micic is also an Indiana wrestler, so it's even more offensive than just knocking the entire country of Serbia's wrestlers. Only trolls and people who love to crap on others to feel good about themselves would do what he did. Respectfully, it's probably just as well that you cease to respond because you're not able to be objective. I tried to leave him alone but he's one angry, frustrated fellow. Lol@ someone decided to attack him and he responded. That is patently ridiculous.

  4. Thanks for responding. I have read the thread. As I stated, I wish JBR had simply stopped responding, instead of keeping the unnecessary thread going. In fact at one point, you almost got there when you said "I am glad you post here", and then he thanked you. That could have been the end, but someone else decided to attack JBR, he responded, and the thread lived on. I still think you also could have handled it a lot better, simply stated that you respect Micic, and refuse to accept allegations without evidence. That could have and should have been the end of it. I do not have an interest in starting another back and forth, so will respectfully not respond any further on this thread.
  5. You might want to re-read what actually happened. Mr Black disparaged World Champion Stevan Micic, as well as numerous other successful Serbian wrestlers, without one shred of evidence. He continued to make derogatory and accusatory remarks, and he started the name-calling and 'clever' memes aimed at me. I'm sure he wouldn't love it if someone on a wrestling board anonymously accused his sons Otto and Max of cheating, without a shred of evidence. I get that you like the guy, but that's pretty despicable behavior. He did this to himself and he's fortunate that no one notified Micic and his World teammates of his comments because he would have to answer for his slanderous remarks at a World event. Or his sons would have to answer for his remarks. He started all this, he kept it going and I merely trolled him for his ridiculous and offensive behavior.
  6. Agreed, lots of local kids current/incoming have been on the mat since they could walk. Current high school kids and incoming freshman/8th/7th graders locally have been putting in the work. It's been fun to watch.
  7. I happen to know some things about the kids coming in and returning and I would say this is the most excited I've been for the Carroll Regional since I can remember---Carroll Regional should begin to heat up the next decade or so and produce more qualifiers and medalists than it has

  19. Hopefully with the good incoming class the room gets a lot tougher, thus creates better March results.
  20. I wish @lJB had just let it die, and not responded. He added a tremendous amount of value in GR wrestling posts, and given his expertise as a GR ref, and inside information based on his kids experience, his expulsion from the board is a big loss. To be fair, @Dingo Brigadecould have handled the whole thing much better as well. Instead of personal attacks, he should have just stuck to facts. Nothing good came out of the two way back and forth.
  21. Triton would be interested. We are looking to add a home meet. Email me at marvesen@triton.k12.in.us if interested. Thank you!
