Another packed room tonight! It was wall to wall. Some adversity to deal with due to construction, but only a couple weeks from the new room...and it’s going to be nasty cool! We are off next week Thursday, March 29th due to construction...but the new room is close so don’t worry. Congrats to Asa Garcia on winning the lower weight lock game and winning a Brownsburg t-shirt. What he does with it I have no clue, but he requested and got a 2XL. Hmmmm...bad thoughts from the Burg! Lol. Again, we are off the 29th due to construction. In Future weeks, looking to line up 2x State Champion Asa Garcia, Rooks Brothas, and some Kyle Ayersman guy who won 3 state titles and was like 183-2. He was okay. Thanks to Gleason Mappes for awesome technique tonight. Here was the room tonight....and keep in mind we are on spring break. #Packed

Jimtown guys: 120 - Hunter Watts 4-0(Fall, 15-0, 21-5, Fall) 132 - Matt Gimson 2-1?(Default, 4-3, L 5-9) 138 - Conner Gimson 4-0(5-0, 7-3, 13-7, 3-1) Watts and slightly-bigger-Gimson are in the quarters and just need to win one of their next two matches to ensure placement. Slightly-smaller-Gimson lost the round of 32 and is in the Consolations. Hard to read the bracket but it looks like he’ll have to crank out 4 straight to place. Go Jimmies!

Wrestling Combine Next Level Wrestling and INVICTA Wrestling clubs will be hosting a Wrestling combine April 14-15. Our goal is to have 20-25 different colleges D1 through NAIA and 40 wrestlers attend this event. This event is open to Incoming Freshman through Seniors. This will be an opportunity to meet with coaches from different colleges and for them to see you perform. The format will be two days with half the coaches each day. The sessions will consist of skill test, drilling and lots of live wrestling. Each wrestler will receive two t-shirts one for each day their name and weight will be on the back so coaches can identify them. The shirts will be color coordinated for their grade. There will be a bio sheet on each wrestler each coach will receive a folder with a copy of all the wrestler’s bio’s. In between each session coaches will have a chance to speak about their program and what their college has to offer. Surprisingly little fanfare but it appears IN has a fairly large contingent at the tourney. It appears my Portage friends and Mr Watts and Goering are off to a good start. Sorry..it's on FLO so I can only handle so much clicking/changing etc (although it does appear to getting better while Track gets worse..just my opinion). Good luck to everybody out there! #GrindOn
