  1. I think the only Sectional qualification is a pulse.
  2. To answer your question about improvement I would have to say enough to make the difference between a Fri. night win or loss as freshman or even sophomores. We all have stories of losses that we can positively attribute to stage fright. I agree that the top 3-4 in each weight class, without question, could have been quality competitors at the HS level, many Sectional, Regional qualifiers. Kind of shooting for the stars there aren't ya...lol
  3. Congratulations to both!! He should make an impact right away. I loved watching Alex wrestle...esp. on top. He turned at will with his sick cross wrist gut tilt.
  4. Alexander Warren added Mooresville High School to his work (Assistant Wrestling Coach). 30 minutes ago Via facebook
  5. Thanks Y2 and sorry Big Hawaiian...I didn't even think about the link being from my FB page. I thought it would have copied the direct link.
  6. The opposing coaches reactions are too funny. They're like, "what the hell was that?" Haha
  7. Here's the link for those of you who haven't seen it. Or those of you who want to watch it again...and again...and again as I have. Lol. Very cool. Dont forget this was attempted successfully at the worlds. http://m.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fassets.sport.ro%2Fassets%2Fsport%2F2011%2F07%2F27%2Fvideos%2F45371%2Fm_lupte.mp4&h=xAQCtTyuv&refid=0&_ft_a=1686704394&_ft_tf=239317899435657&_ft_tpi=1686704394&_ft_ti=17&_ft_fth=16d53aca00340933&_ft_time_ft=1312302063&_ft_mf_objid=239317899435657&cb=5
  8. I was wondering how long this post would take. I must say...much longer than I had expected. On an even funnier side note, can Y2 admit being wrong twice in one thread?
  9. Don't miss out on an opportunity to get better prepared to become Champions!!! Tonights open room should be a great chance to do just that with studs ranging from the pee wee to high school levels in attendance. See you there.
  10. Indy South Side Wrestling Clud Coaches Lance Ellis and Robert Miller will be hosting a free open room in preparation for this weeks upcoming Freestye State Championships. Many Roncalli and Indy South Side wrestlers will be in attendance for help with technique as well as partners for live goes. Lets get together and push one another one step closer to achieving our goals. ISSA Wednesday 6:00pm 4150 Kildeer Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46237, USA Just a few minutes south of 465 right off of Southport and I65
  11. Not sure about you Coach but we'll have to have a wrestle off tournament for the big guys.
  12. agreed...also takes away the confusion of "can you scissor or figure four the head, I always forget which ones legal" lol. Heard that one thousands of times.

  15. Are you basing this on his not being healthy enough to run the score up? Nothing says he can't keep the score low and win a low scoring match...as he did in the Big Tens.
  16. Face off is half over on channel 4/2
  17. Why would this young man go to a school where his coach believes that he can't compete with wrestlers from the big schools that he is looking at already. Of course he'll choose one of the big schools that assure him a clear advantage over Garrett.
  18. Talk about putting the cart before the horses ass.
  19. Let the corrections begin...fell...fell into a side headlock...not only does it take sack to attempt such a throw, but to attempt it at that weight against a stud shows the young man has no fear. A kid with the skill that Sliga demonstrates coulpled with a fearlessness to attempt anything shows me that the sky's the limit for this young man.
  20. UMMMM....It started while I was posting this...
