    Not sure if this was directed at me? No caliboy here pal. All I'm saying is that Mike may have good reason to have doubt that my wrestler may come up short, and that he is willing to work hard to try to get better. And Mrs. Larson was just sharing her opinion (openly and non-anonymously). I assure you that she is one of the nicest people that I have ever been around, and doesn't deserve that comment either (if you were referring to her). And Mike disagrees, and has presented his supporting comments (which make sense). See this is how this all works. Not sure how your comments fit into this thread.

    Carson took a bad loss to a very tough wrestler at team state . He wasn't around last year, and didn't look that great at Evansville (was a bit ill). He knows that he has work to do. Time will tell if Mike is right. I assure you that he will work hard to try to get to the top (always has worked hard). No excuses here. Gotta work harder to earn respect.

    Red had the one seed beat! Gave up a takedown with 5 seconds left in the third. Was up 3 to 1 after cradling him up in the second. Went to OT and came up short. Man!!! So close.

    I have seen Escalara wrestle for a couple years now (Coached against him). He is a very solid kid. I know that in 2015 he beat a very tough Tyler Conley from Avon at a tournament 4-3. Both are 8th graders. Maybe we see that match up next year. Also saw him at middle school nationals beat Owen Sego from Indian Creek 6 to 5 last year, in a great match. But, I agree with Garcia. Don't think that he can hang with Asa yet. Not taking anything away from the kid... because he did look great. I was very impressed with Union County's drags and set ups. I also liked they way they hit Turks. Would almost cut a kid... then reach down... pull the ankle... and get a deep Turk. Pretty slick stuff.

    This flu bug is hitting all of Indiana... hard!!!! Im guessing that is what's up??? Get it out of they way now and get healthy for the state series. Still sucks.

    Avon trying to hang in with 6 starters out and others trying to grind it out at less than 100 percent. Advances all entered weights to day two. Super proud of that.

    Not sure about the other teams but #TheCounty has been hit hard with the flu. Also... looking at some of the teams that participated at team state.... there may be a bit of a hangover (at their holiday tourneys). Many of those teams have kids out for various reasons. Tends to happen when that many good wrestlers get after it.

    Yep... hitting #TheCounty hard. We had kids less than 100 percent on Friday and looks like we may be battle the same thing again at our tourney this week. Seems to be a nasty little 48 hour deal.

    It was my first state duals... loved it. Wouldn't expect less from the people in charge (majority of workers were from the iswa). Even if you dislike some of the policies at the iswa, you can't deny the fact that these people do give so much to the kids. So.. greatful for them. Thank you to the seeding committee. Thank you to Joe and the Indiana mat staff for all of their hard work. Thank you to the coaches association for all that they did. Thanks to the refs. Congrats to all of the champs. Congrats to Perry on their victory against our team. Look forward to bringing the #NotSoYoungGunz back next year to make another run.

    Chesterton gave up 12 per round also. Was kind of shocked to see that. They have some really good kids. Look for them to be a top team in February.

    No.... I mean actually ranking the actual fans! Best teams fans and best individual fans! Ha

    I loved the passion from the fans. Most of the top teams have kids that have been traveling with, wrestling with, or wrestling against each other since grade school. Nice to see old friends. Mike.... could we get a rankings for the fans? Team and individual please.

    Avon did lose a heartbreaker to perry, but our neighbors to the north did best them in the finals. A 1st and 3rd for #TheCounty. Not what we set out to do, but we will have to live with it.

    It's the family's choice period. Everyone's situation is different. Parents should do what they think is best for their kids period. Public opinion should not be considered. Do the best that you can for your kids. It's that simple.

    Personally... my wife's mom passed a week after thanksgiving. She used all of her personal time dealing with that. With this said, she can't go on Friday. It would be great if she could watch.

    #TheCounty's favorite uncle will not be there... What!!?? How and when will we do our gift exchange. I'm sure that Jmill has something special to give to his favorite uncle. Also... I know that team Garcia made a special trip to mr b's cigar shop for ya. Cmon man!
