    Break before quarters now. Portage in 3rd a few points out of 1st. Avon is in 7th .5 point out of 5th. Both team have all wrestlers still alive!

    Pretty sure I saw one in the restroom.... It is the weirdest thing when you walk in. I actually walked back out and went back in to be sure my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me. The gym is super old. You have to walk up these steep stairs to make it to this little old door. Then you walk in.... it’s like the Taj Mahal of crappers. Weird...

    This tourney will be broadcast on flowrestling and the brackets will be on trackwrestling. Best of both worlds, and no Flo arena to deal with!!!!     It is no secret that my son has had a rough couple years to start his high school career. With that said, he has had some great matches in his off season. We have actually got a few emails and calls from some pretty good programs that have stated that they have seen his matches (online and in person) and like what they see. No doubt that your opponents get to see the videos. But.. I can tell you first hand that having those matches available to college coaches could open doors for your wrestlers. If you have a wrestler that wants to wrestle at the next level, you are doing him a disservice by not allowing college coaches to see them.

    To be honest.... while I love to pump up wrestling around here (#TheCounty) on this site... I have been a team leader or coach for half the kids that wrestled 3a yesterday. I have lots of love for all those kids (regardless of school). I love Indiana wrestling and have been blessed to meet many guys like you. In the long run, guys like us are in it for the for the kids. You do a great job with the Perry club. Enjoyed hanging out. See you soon buddy.

    How bout Evansville semistate..... 4 of the top 6 teams! Now that’s going to be a tough semi state! But yes my guy Asa gets my biased vote.

    After watching EMD vs Portage, I feel a bit better about that loss. They almost tripled them up. Congrats to our neighbors Brownsburg. Great day thanks to all that ran it! #TheCounty

    Back to Greencastle (Putnam County) wrestling talk please! Crickets...... I will say a handful of good Putnam County kids have moved to #TheCounty for some reason. Is that the issue?

    And yes... a team that is seeded 5th in a 12 team tourney should finish around the middle. That is not a bold prediction. Smh

    It kills me that nobody in Avon comments or cares about EMD and this dude trolls our team like crazy. Why the hate pal? Over the years I have met some great people from down there and not one has said anything negative to me about our fans or our kids. Furthermore, we have never posted that you will fail or any other negativity (that also goes for all other teams also). Sure we get nuts on this board, but it’s all in fun. Your tournament is great. Just think that we can get our tops dogs some good exposure in Ohio. Sorry that it is the same day as your great tourney. My son won it before and i was super proud. On a personal note I really wanted the 6th seed so we could wrestle you guys... Not because we hate your kids... because it would be a good match. I don’t mean to get deep about an anymomous troll poster... but man!!! You are kinda reaching stalker status.

    Brayton Lee has to be up there. I think that he gets over 200 a season.

    Avon gets another starter back last night. Iswa state champ Jayden Williams makes his debut with the team. Still waiting for senior 195 Andrew Frank to return next week. Mason Miranda and Carson Brewer returned over the weekend. The Orioles take down number 10 Zionsville 55-20. Team is shaping up for team state.

    Portage lost to Cathedral by more than Avon did and Avon had 5 starters out including two kids ranked in the top 6 in the state. Brownsburg won the toss which messed and a bump and then it all went to hell. They won all the close match ups. It was ugly. Just a horrible match up for the Orioles. And boys... the Bulldogs are that good. You will see. I think that it is Brownsburg, Cathedral, Perry, Avon, Portage, EMD. The good thing is that we will find out for sure in a couple weeks where 4 of the 5 fall. It’s going to be good. Btw... we were all making bets when our friend from the south would respond. Team Garcia wins the MD92 chiming in pool this time!!!

    Pain train is a clear number one (in my opinion). Just based off results and common opponents. Or this is a shot at Avon and you assume that they should be ranked lower? Who should move above them and why?
