  1. SURE thing college prospect? What is that?
  2. So.... Back to something less controversial. The championship dual was memorial and UC? Anyone have the details? Depth wise, the siac may be down a smidgen. On high and upper-end talent the siac is up. I will bet that more siac kids go to state in 2014 than in 2013.
  3. Memorial came in second and kept it to 15 against UC? That's a really good showing. Does anyone know how the dual broke down by match?
  4. how about round and mat assignments?
  5. Wow, it's not every day you see a Ralph Cramden reference in a wrestling post. When's the last time someone brought up one-hit wonder Terrence Trent D'Arby?
  6. obviously, jon h has the technological upper hand. i heard he is from posey county. i guess you can take the boy out of the country
  7. really? perry wins 62-9 and you complain about the attitude of a cg kid? really? let's take away 9 team points so perry gets credit for a shut-out. we could also petition the ihsaa to suspend the cg kid.
  8. union county is ranked #1 and brings 11 ranked wrestlers to md, including two ranked first and two ranked second. mater dei counters with eight ranked wrestlers. although union county has been coming to the holiday classic for a number of years, the braves and wildcats have not wrestled a dual since 1983. union county has a terrific wrestling tradition and rabid fans. they will bring a large contingent to the meet. get there early; expect a full house.
  9. three cliches in the first paragraph, but you close strongly with three additional cliches in the last paragraph. there is also a double cliche/mixed metaphor. not sure how to score that one.
  10. let me guess...your team is at al smith, but did not qualify for the state duals. therefore, the state duals must be a sham.
  11. that's right! it's all about preformance!
  12. the real question is how the second year of re-alignment will affect the performance of the castle and central sectionals. after the malignment of last year's shift, central still came out on top. what about this year? the central sectional boasts mater dei and very good teams such as central and gibson southern. is the castle sectional surging? does it intend to impose its will on the central boys? let's hear it! jon h? iu89? specifically, i call out wrestleman and bluebolt, those prognosticating pariahs of pugilistic palookas to lead us to the light. bluebolt, the pressure is on. for three seasons now, wrestleman has brought a rush Limbaugh-like accuracy to his predictions. i think i know who wrestleman is. he is pretty cocky. bluebolt, it will take someone with your gravitas to take him down a notch or two. let's do this!
  13. man, the season has not even started and you are already looking past people/teams.
  14. I agree...boonville will surprise.
  15. We have open dates on November 23 and January 11. If you have an opening, please respond to jsjohnson@ccol.net
  16. You can take the boy out of the cave, BUT....
  17. How do you think the central sectional stacks up against the castle sectional?
  18. I still don't trust Fabio. When the lights are bright and at just the right angle, you can see the outline of the Caveman tattoo that covers his back. You can take the Fabio out of the cave, BUT...
  19. When you say "we" you must be referring to the woefully uninformed... Is there an Indianamat.com topic more tired and incorrect?
