  1. That makes sense - Canada and the UK have very open trade/work relations. It is very easy for Canadians to get a work visa in the UK and a ton of canadians (espicially young adult) take advantage Thanks again for the updates - hope you are enjoying the games and I hope you like Indian food
  2. Close scramble at the end Sounded like there was a lot of people cheering for and against Burroughs
  3. Thanks looks like I got this information just in time as Burroughs' match is just starting!!!
  4. Sliga at 5 is way too low. He has much higher national credentials than anyone else at 195, and a victory over Ryan Solomon (albeit several years ago at Brute Showcase duals - I think). They seem to be putting a lot of weight into his 3rd place finish at Super32 and possibly not enough into his recent victories over other ranked (some at 182) wrestlers. But I am sure his performance at Fargo will speak for itself. I wonder if he is planning on going both Greco and Freestyle. Seems like at the Junior level, Fargo is an even bigger grind than cadet.
  5. Agreed -- Perry is EXCELLENT representation for IN wrestling. I can't see how they could be any classier in this event. Thank you Perry coaches and wrestlers, and all the IN teams that went for making IN wrestling look so good.
  6. He gets my vote. Fargo champion (or runner up) and never made it to state...mind = blown
  7. I'd say without question Berry's draw was tougher than Kral's - He had the most trouble (save the finals) with the Princeton kid and after that, his opponents had a combined 2 losses (prior to their match with him) and half of those losses were Sliga's closest match of the season. IMHO I think Sliga could have beaten anybody at 220 -- I don't know if I would say he could have wrestled an entire tournament giving up that much size and not been too worn out by the the last match, but in a single match situation, I do think he and most likely Berry could win. But all we can say for sure about 220 is that Kral is the champion and that cannot be taken away...
  8. What a great career and what tough breaks for this kid. He and Campbell both.
  9. Agreed this year's Perry team is good but not as good as EMD 2003 (probably not as good as 2009 Mishawaka) It is amazing to me that the 2003 EMD team lost a dual meet that year to OH's Parish Gramme --Don't know the details, but wow that team must have been stacked! FYI - it is Griffith
  10. I understand it is a pretty serious back injury -- As much as I would love for it to have worked out that 2 - 2xers were squaring off under the lights, it's not worth the kid risking permanent damage.
  11. Many of the Perry kids also train with CIA. Also, if you ever get thechance to see a CIA session you'll find it's a lot more than just having a bunch of talented kids in the room. Coach P has got quite a system that goes beyond the mat.
  12. I hope the match happens and that Phillips is healthy, I am not sure how bad his injury is. Even if Phillips is healthy it will be a battle, both can really push the pace but I think Crume wins if he breaks Phillips. If Phillips hangs tough he wins. Don't want to cop-out by picking both so I'll say Phillips hangs tough and wins. Definitely the best match-up Friday - If the draw was different - this could have been a Sat night match-up.
  13. I'd say of the 3 Berry got the toughest Draw to get to the Finals (to get there he will most likely have: 1/4 - winner of #4 Raypole/#6 Early Semis - likely #3Maurer Finals -#1Sliga If he wins, He will have earned it for sure
  14. Is it working? I get a weird Username and login page and can't get on
  15. 1. Tsirtsis 2. Sliga 3. Jackson 4. Brooks 5. Willis
  16. No kidding. Outside of losses to each other all 4 are undefeated. The logansport regional has 1 undefeated and 1 kid with only 2 losses. Makes for a complete meat grinder of a SS
  17. Robinson showed great hips and was dominant from double overs. Just a flat out great athlete. After seeing how good he is from upper body ties I think for anyone to stand a chance against him they will have to really work a good game plan. He is too dangerous to just throw a kid out there and say go get'em.
  18. Thanks -- I guess I was too excited about the team regionals....
  19. Wish I could make it. Great match up. I say Molloy takes it, he will be better from neutral. Molloy wins 4-1
