i see all of the interviews on youtube but is the actual match on the internet anywhere?

here's the deal...Purdue and IU wrestling are just not wrestling schools. Obviously what we have now is not working and not matter what - YOU CAN'T ARGUE THAT. So, lets change coaches and see what happens, we can't do any worse. Again - YOU CAN'T ARGUE THIS POINT. Finally - even if its just for a few years until we lose him to another program -lets pony up another $10,000 and pay some new and upcoming coach that is a DI champ at least 6 figures and see if he can turn our program around.

honestly I don't trust this kid any farther than I can throw him....just a flat out menace to society.

just to clarify - i am not criticizing the others that didn't wrestle in it but I was praising this young man for doing it. I don't blame others for not wanting to wrestle the day after state but I think Rypel deserves some credit for doing it.

its perfect logic...my guess is a lot of guys stayed Saturday night - how do i know? because I saw them at our hotel. I'm sure there were several parents that stayed saturday night too. So I think he does deserve a TON of credit for wrestling on Sunday. And don't give me this paying for food and entry, its no different than traveling anywhere and having food and entry. NO EXCUSES, this guy flat out wants to work his tail off and win it all next year.

it's not a 2.5 drive home for anyone that wrestled this weekend at state then decided to do the nationals. everyone had the same opportunity but as far as i can tell, only Rypel did it.

my guess is he is from Cathedral...they seem to have a lot of "fros" on the wrestling team. or like someone said earlier, maybe its a wig.

saw where he got first in the INDY Nationals...talk about staying at it. finishes 2nd in state and turns around and wrestles a tournament the next day. Great Job.

i think one important call was missed in my opinion in the finals, maybe a couple more not so important. Either way you slice it, it was some of the better officiating I have seen in a while. on a different note...still the toughest call in the world is stalling and that can be debated for days or weeks. -
just found out he was spotted at the NFL combine too. buddy of mine said that he was interviewing potential draft picks before NFL staff finally figured out he had forged credentials. not sure if he was arrested but they didn't find the humor in it.

i too noticed all 3 of these....especially the more funk that is trickling down from college. i also think the refs need to be a little more patient and get accustomed to the funk before calling takedowns.

that is AWESOME. best thing i've heard all night. we were in the stands wondering how that happened but had an idea that brendan black wasn't really injured. Great young man.

any thoughts on Cosaro knowing that he scored first, he was happy to go into OT and then Ultimate OT? he came after Heistand like a tazmanian devil in the last 20 seconds of the match and darn near had a takedown. If he'd have done that in OT he probably would have either gotten a takedown or stalling on heistand.

i agree...thought that there was no control...but i'm no expert so I could be wrong.

I'm not sure - other than Red's chest bump, which i'm sure meant no harm - that there was anything too terrible. with that being said, I love how some guys didn't really celebrate all. off the top of my head, I know Gelen Robinson didn't and I don't think Cash did...I know there were others as well. How about when Deondre won and he got slammed by his coach? that was entertaining.

I don't think pm recruits or cheats but Schoettle thinks differently....He threatens to expose the cheating but after so many threats, nothing has been exposed.
