  1. I hope it runs smooth as silk. Plus, a lot closer for us. I enjoyed the tradition of the past 40 years at Castle. And...I don't mind change, but I've always been cautious of some of the IHSAAs decisions regarding our great sport.
  2. I forgot my password and have not been on the site for a long time. A lot of interesting things happening. This thread topic was a huge WTH moment...lol
  3. Absolutely true! I would hate that time difference as well!
  4. Wow! I remember my first Regional was at MD 76-77 school year. Then in 77-78 school year it was moved to Castle??? I believe Jasper pulled off a big team win that same year. (Someone correct me if I am wrong!) Castle is a tradition...and it works! The table workers are on top of it, locker rooms, parking lots, accessibility, all easy....I don't get the reasoning in the change? JB PS: Hey JPT 189
  5. I'm not seeing it AC?? Help me out it has been a while since I have posted anything on here..
  6. I'm not sure, but isn't Yorktown's coach from Delta? Craig Campbell was at Jay County when we had D.J. Radnovich at State, and one of my best friends of all time Chris Campbell is back in the swing of things at Greenwood. I'm sure there are more. John barnett
  7. I believe that those 3 points make for good criteria..Y2 It's funny how that you can take 3 individuals: one for wrestler A, one for wrestler B, and one with "no dog in the fight" of a very close and tight match. And, after the match concludes, all 3 have different perspectives on the match itself, and the officiating of that match. It does make for interesting reading. JB
  8. Rick...you sure that you don't want to stay one more year...lol? John Barnett
  9. Absolutely correct and good post(s) by you and jjacoby. We like Blake and Matt right where they are at...lol!
  10. How's the team score looking at this moment?
  11. ...but while he was interviewing coaches at SS last year I noticed that he had Ronco's Pocket Fisherman in his back pocket!
  12. As did I, Jon H.. Not trying to hijack this thread, but coverage seems to really be lacking from the Courier. I couldn't believe that there was nothing in the next day's paper after the Battle of the Westside!!! Who is covering wrestling this year?
  13. Chuck Barnett must be there reffing!
  14. If Reitz had pins at 106, 195, and hwt ='s 18...and decisions at 113 and 126 ='s at least 6. How did Reitz only have 21?
  15. How are you samaj? Its been about 2 years since I've been on here. The Sectional changes should make for some interesting results. Memorial looks very solid..!
  16. Needs to be approved by the Board first...real estate boy (lol)! And then...we will celebrate.
  17. That's what I had always heard as well...maybe its an urban legend like John himself...lol!
  18. That's hilarious...he'd look like William Wallace!
  19. That's funny! And Semper Fi back at you...!
  20. Hey ...If I could"ve had a program that produced as many State Champs and place winners as Bob has had....I would've wore tennis shoes with grass stains. Bob's one of a kind and one heck of a coach. Who really cares what he wears? JMO! JBarnett
  21. Reese was impressive! Tom you are right as usual..D.J. pinned all 4 in 6:20 combined...I believe.
